It needs to be said just how much autofill dictates high elo games, no matter what Riot claims

At the least, Diamond 2 and above is high elo in rational eyes.

There are too many problems destroying this game as it is, but one thing that just needs to be addressed is how much autofill dictates or kills this game in higher elo no matter what Riot bullshits or people want to deny. It's not exactly concerning me since if I'm autofilled and don't get one of three roles, I just leave and come back in sixteen hours no sweat. But the vast majority of people will give no fucks and play an unfamiliar role or champion. With the game as it is and in a setting where people in their actual roles fully know what they're doing, this pretty much means the matches largely boil down to whoever has the autofills and who doesn't.

And it's just insanely stressful to put up with this from others. Contrary to Riot's lies, I'm starting to honestly believe autofill exists just to keep elo in line because they don't want too many people always in their most familiar roles bloating checkpoints like low Platinum or Diamond.

Would you prefer the longer que times waiting for a support or a return to the old style with pick priority in champ select

People in higher elo don't like to support? :p Guess not really surprising since when I select fill 90% of the time i'll end up support unless the bot lane is duo and want to go together.

Autofill ruining high elo? Don't you mean one trick ponies are ruining high elo?
