Is it just me or have tank support items started to creep up in cost? Looking through the options for tank supports all of them are 100-400 gold more expensive then enchanter support items. I'd gladly give up a few stats to be able to buy these items a bit sooner as a support player.

StoryDuck1 votesThat's been my feeling too. It takes too long to get that first item let alone second item. There is no tank support item that costs 2100. the cheapest is 2200 and only two cost that with one requiring bonus health and the other a niche item that you would never purchase first. Yet enchanter support type champions have 
that all cost 2100.

Not only that two of the items counter each other, in which Mikel loses its passive and the heal on athenes is pretty much not useful as the heal from the ardent sensor is a better version of it.

id the only tank I've been playing as support lately.
Frost Armor helps to feel tanky at every point in the game when it's up.

StoryDuck1 votesI can't say I have had many problems except that it feels a lot harder to come back into the game once I fall behind as a tank support. Going even or ahead it all feels great but I just can't shake the feeling that something is really off when I fall behind with a Taric or Leona versus falling behind as a Janna or a Lulu. It might just all be in my head but when I was looking at the various items I noticed the price discrepancy and was wondering what others thought.
