Why does Kha'Zix, who is an AD Assassin has passive which deals Magic Damages with an AP ratio only?

so you can build tri force and not feel like you're wasting all the stats. ofcourse

To make AP Kha'Zix viable, of course

There are few things that doesn't match Riots famous logic:

  1. Khazix is borderline unviable yet he perfectly fits LC$ FLA$HY PLAY$ > Riot doesn't buffs him for worlds.

  2. Yasuo also fits LC$ FLA$HY PLAY$ yet we barely see him in competitive, and even if we do he's crap apart from ZionSpartan'S Godlike performance.

  3. Riven Kinda the same yet noone picks her in competitive.

  4. Zed I bet we won't see him in worlds this season.

Looks like LeeSin is their only puppy thats allowed to be viable every single season considering they are gutting Elise again before worlds.

Just a random guess but i believe that the main point of the passive was to slow and that the damage is just there to make it feel better to proc, i don't know for sure but it's pretty weird nonetheless

Zed is an AD assassin and his passive deals magic damage too.

I would at least change that passive to do a percentage of the enemy's max health in magic damage.

Or better yet, just change it for something better. Right now it is not a very good passive, it doesn't scale well and most people use him at the jungle, you can't proc the passive on monsters. It is pretty useful for early cheeses at mid/top, though.
