I don't call it splitting if the minions are pushing all the way to the turret. It's called preventing an easy backdoor. Too many games turn into ARAM after a turret or two falls. All that free gold in the side lanes being completely ignored while people force bad fights mid lane and all around the unwarded jungle. I mean I can see if it's just a complete stomp, then yeah group and end it. But if its a fairly close game farm is still pretty important, so is not giving up any free turrets. It's one thing to push till you meet some resistance then back off, but forcing a fight and then after you lose it saying where was the adc when they were clearly clearing the 20 minions about to take a turret without an enemy even there. They ask where you were like they need a ward or something to tell where you are on the map. lol

Some people turn clearing minions into split pushing though, and when it's the adc they usually just end up getting caught. Some people just want to play team deathmatch till the death timers get so long it's easy enough for one person to survive a fight and win the game. So everytime they see an enemy it's 0-100 real quick. I'm usually the person telling people to back off and clear the side lanes in game. I'd say people listen about 10% of the time. lol

Then they say "wtf split pusher is not grouped gg".

Oh, I'm sorry, was I, your teammate, hidden on your map to where you couldn't see me and know where I am on the map? Do you lack the ability to recognize that there are only 4 of you in one place, and the 5 enemies in front of you probably want to start a fight?

I hate it when I'm getting their Inhibitor as Nasus and my team ENGAGES on them WITHOUT THEIR TANK WHO JUST USED TELEPORT in a 4v5 THINKING I can pull some LeDank Magic out of my canine ass and just appear there, say "Voila! What a twist!" and proceed to one shot them. No. I can't do that. What I can do is split push so hard they'll all be forced to back which means we get free objectives and/or they have to do a 4v4 or 3v4. I will admit it's my fault if I'm not there in a team fight when it's obviously them engaging. But I will not stand people say "Fucking Nasus just split pushing lol" when the same person just dove into them for the support. If you're ALWAYS gone, you're a huge problem to your team's team fight potential. You basically force them to play passive while you push a minion wave, like they aren't gonna come up and kill you if you push too far. Splitting when you know what you're doing is good, but too many people don't know how to split and/or use the wrong champs to do it.

Fine, but a lot of times I see splitters blame the 4 for the engage when they didn't actually engage. Getting caught is also dumb, but a different problem. For the split to work, they have to apply pressure as 4, too, and that carries the risk of getting caught.

I get where you're coming from, but... Don't pretend our team made a bad engage if we have NO disengage champions and they have Malphite/Jarvan, initating wombo bullshit. You're just telling us to hide in base until they come after you instead, because there's nothing we can do 4v5 against a teamfighting team with good initiate.

this so fucking much I was getting threatened to be reported by my team all because I was just merely split pushing I wasn't saying jack shit in chat and they were engaging 4v5 and kept blaming me because they were stupid enough to fight them. I'm sorry but I don't go to summoners rift to play ARAM I go there to win the game and there is more than 1 lane to win to the game. 10 people playing with their dicks out not doing anything at mid is boring and I rather actually get objectives than pacing around jacking it at mid with the rest of them.

Yo, how about you start splitting when the rest of your team starts pushing? Instead of, you know, starting your unwarded push when the mid is getting blue buff and your jungler is killing the river crab.

In this game, it's kind of easy to engage on people. You got stuff like TF, Malph, Rammus, Rengar, all of which are godlike now. So unless you want your team to afk in base, it's highly likely an engage is going to happen within a minute or two. If you can't get an objective in that time frame, why are you blaming your team?

Teammates often have a habit of pushing up despite being in a 4v5 and then being chased down and killed....
