Do you also play more poorly when you have abusive players on your team?
I'm one of those players that just wants to keep things chill, and whenever you get one of those angry players on the team my performance just always nose dives. Sometimes it starts because of the role you pick, or the champion and sometimes it's arbitrary.
I like to experiment a lot to learn things about champs and composition I'm only level 24 and I've learned cool things about my fav champs
to get some nice S rank games, I really enjoy this but it really just takes that one person whose only focus is winning at all costs to ruin not just the game but the whole experience. I'm starting to associate a lot of negative reinforcements with playing LoL and I think soon that might just indirectly remove my will to play it.
There's an apprehension to playing with judgmental players, where every action you take is scrutinized and if you do well it's doused with jealousy, it's always a lose/lose. Lyte (and team's) work makes me hopeful but at the same time when the shit hits the fan it also doesn't feel like enough, I used to feel secure in reporting players but lately that seems to have fallen off.
You're not always told to kill yourself (although it has happened to me twice), it doesn't have to be extreme to sour the experience and if you lose it only compounds; negativity snowballs really easily and so many players seem to just look on in silence when it starts to roll. It feels really good to play on a team that gave its all and were happy with just that win or lose. These are very rare. Very rare. They're also the teams I do best on, they're my S rank teams and that's what I hope to get when I queue, and I queue up like a fool every time but I don't know how much longer.
