How does the vison changes to Azir affect him?

I don't play him (not my cup of tea) but I do have a decent understanding on how he works and why he is broken over tuned. Can someone explain how the vison changes on the PBE actually affect him? Also how much of a difference will the soldier damage nerf make? Will it make a significant difference to his early game damage?

The difference in damage is maximum at level 11-13, and it's 25 damage per hit. I'd say it will make a meaningful difference. Level 15 it's still 15 damage per hit, so it stays relevant way past early game.

So will he remain a powerful early game bully or is that where the vison change comes into play?

That I cannot tell. I don't have any experience with Azir so I don't know how big of an impact it will be. I'm just familiar enough with the general values in the game to realize that 25 damage per hit WILL have an impact.

You only answered half the question, which means I have to place you in the dungeon for all eternity.

As build was nerfed.

I've been playing Azir recently in my ranked games and don't think the nerfs will hit too hard since he is still a late game champion. I've had bad early games and if the enemy team lets you sit in the back and auto during teamfights, his damage is insane. You probably won't notice anything for vision since the soldiers aren't used as wards. This is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

IMO I don't have a problem with his late game since a lot can happen between early game and late game. Its that he is one of the best lane bullies that scales into a late game champion with a great escape and peel in his kit. Nerfing his early game damage would stop him from crowding out a lot of other champions and increase the chances of getting a lead on him, closing the game out before he out scales you, or shutting him down before he becomes a late game hyper carry.
