how do I remove the ability range thing?

for some reason the past two weeks the ranges of abilities are showing up on the screen even tho am disabling them in the options menu in game. also sometimes when I point on targets the cursor changes to a square. that didn't use to happen before

also some abilities. if I point out of range. even they they are directional. they dont cast them. a dash or anything that isnt targeted. it used to work just pointing at direction.
