Riot, Please Reconsider the Gangplank nerfs.
I started playing Gangplank when he was first reworked during the Burning Tides Event, as I just find his mobility, quotes, and the satisfaction of landing a barrel on the enemy ADC fun. However, since his rework, he has had power consistently drained from much of his kit (cast time on his barrels, damage reduction to his passive and mana refund on his Parrrley, to name a few.) I can see the nerfs to his Q and his E, as those made both his early and late game overwhelming, but nerfing his ultimate? This spell is a lot of what makes Gangplank so good. It provides good utility, and enough damage to snipe a low health target or assist your bot lane in fighting the enemy bot laners. This is what usually gets Gangplank snowballing, as he usually can't kill his laner easily if top lane and really can't successfully roam consistently if mid, as he lacks a gap closer, so he needs to snowball off his ultimate. Because of this, he is somewhat dependent on his lanes not to screw up pre-6 because of it. I can see why you would think that the cool down is too short, so ulting is never the wrong move, but isn't screwing up on an ability that has a 140 second cool down rank one already pretty punishing? I know that Gangplank benefited greatly from the new Essence Reaver as well as the new Crit items, but nerfing his passive cut his win rate down by two percent (From over 53% to about 51%). I may be a little biased, as this is my go-to solo laner, but please take these points into great consideration before hitting Gangplank with another nerf.
