Are there any plans to enable Champion Points across all PvP queues?

I feel that regardless of what mode you queue up for, if you've leveled up a particular champion, you have some idea and knowledge about how that champion works. The basic mechanics of a champion don't depend on a map/mode (e.g. I still root and slow and DoT people with Swain the same way on Twisted Treeline that I do on SR. While my strategy for the game as a whole may be different, how I handle my champion is not.)

Because of this, It's upsetting that if I'm a fan of LoL's other maps and modes other than SR normal/ranked, my experience with a champion doesn't get reflected in my profile- I've played a decent amount of LoL in every game mode, but if people check my profile, it will look like IK haven't played some of my champions much or at all when I actually have, just not on SR.

I realize that this probably isn't a simple task as Champion points aren't like EXP in that they use some algorithm to measure your contribution to the match, and so the algorithm itself may need adjustment because of differences in game length and meta. But my usage of champions should be visible to everyone, even if I play a round of 3v3, Dominion, or ARAM. (I have a suspicion the hardest core players will oppose this, but this is just a statistic on a profile and not a gameplay thing).

Maybe, yeah. I left progression speed open deliberately, that's something Riot can determine better than I can, it just bugs me that ever since champ points were implemented, a number of champions I've played don't show up on my summoner profile, making me look even more noobish than I actually am.

(Side note: I'm a fan of both TT and dominion in addition to SR, but ARAM I don't play much because I don't like 1) randomness and 2) troll players that make an account with one champ for ARAM just to circumvent that randomness. Are ARAM games really shorter than dominion games? is that what you based your numbers on?)

I was thinking about this as well yesterday. Like getting only 30-40% for ARAM and around 70-80% for dominion.

It is because champion mastery specifically applies only to the "competitive" queue. It specifically applies to how good you are on that champion on the map that all champions are balanced for.

This isn't really accurate, because it applies to both Normal and Ranked games. Normal games are not competitive.

I did not write that correctly. "Supported map" would have been better. Normals are still experience of the champion in the supported environment.

All modes are "supported." The degree of which does vary but some effort is made to ensure that the champion functions as intended in all environments.

Like I said before, champions generally do not function drastically differently in different modes. Your specific skill in handling the champion itself is something separate from your skill in executing map specific strategies.

It's almost like Riot doesn't want people playing anything but Rift.

Well, this is my exact feeling on the issue. You can ignore dominion if you really want to, but a lot of people do play 3v3 (look at the challenger tier, its pretty active) and I feel like not earning champion points there when it's technically under the umbrella of the "Classic" game type is a deterrent to people queuing for it. Why have something in the game and (essentially) actively deter people from playing it?

TT has a ranked queue and there are people who take it seriously. This has been a common problem for as long as League has been around. Little to no effort is made to let every part of the game be the best it can be. I wonder if Riot has stats on this but I don't think people who play any other game mode are any less likely to be giving Riot any money.

Wait you don't get champ points for Treeline?
