That's if she isn't preemptively banned without even hovering.
Like half the matches I see Yuumi picked (whether myself or someone else) in result in a dodge. Just saying, something might be wrong here. :p Nobody wants one on their team.
So if you don't really want to play the match but you can't/dont want to dodge, pick Yuumi. Someone else probably will.
If I play ADC5 an5d5 there's a Yuumi, I happily lock in and hope my jg mid and top aren't brain dead....
I'm more likely to get a Dodge hovering Yuumi support than Yasuo support.

I love Yuumi and provided I have a team that doesn't feed 3-5 deaths in the first 5 minutes it's usually decently solid until everyone forgets what game we're playing.
Yuumi is incredibly strong. People who complain about her are either bronze - gold elo who just repeat what they see on boards and youtube videos. Once a mainstream player picks Yuumi up and makes a video like "AP YUUMI OP 11/0/29" everyone and their mother will jump on the bandwagon. Its just the brainless mentality of low elo ranked players sadly.
over 65% WR with her with close to 20 games with her. is that a small sample size? Yes but one thing that has been abundantly clear when i play her, a lot of my losses are from other lanes losing and at the end of the day she is a support. As long as you are warding, pressuring, poking,ccing, and healing/shielding, you are properly contributing to the team. People who dodge because Yuumi is picked are just typically people who are bad and just want their bot lane to carry them and do not want to risk the lane losing for w/e reason.
One thing is abundantly clear about the champion, she i extremely good post laning phase and her passive carries her through laning.
