Giving Sightstone Diverse Build Paths

I've recently been delving more into the Support role and have found some nuances that I like and dislike, one of which I'd like to address in this post. I liked that Riot gave supports dedicated items such as item 3303 , item 3097 , and item 3301 so that they may play a style that best suits them. But rather than rushing to finish these support items, I feel like it is more important to get the 800g to complete a item 2049 first. Afterwards I'm free to build situationally. I'll be honest, completing item 2049, followed by item 2045, feels extremely unsatisfying. Which is why I propose that there be different build paths from item 2049. Also with the recent jungle item changes and enchantments that still branch from item 1039 , I feel that Riot has an opportunity to do something similar with item 2049. And this would not simply mean more item diversity to supports. Proper build paths from item 2049 could make it viable for other champions in other lanes. Besides, no one would be opposed to more vision if the item also provides other useful stats.

Here are some ideas. Feel free to criticize (constructively) and critique, or throw out your own ideas in the comments.

item 2049 + item 1028 + item 1029 + item 1033 = item 2045 This will be the new Ruby Sighstone. For tanky supports, this would be quite the investment but having extra health and armor and magic resist would make it feel more satisfying.

item 2049 + item 1027 +item 3114 + ~300g = Sapphire Sighstone For Mana hungry supports, this could be an alternative to item 3174, item 3222, and item 3504.

item 2049 + item 3108 + ~400g = All Seeing Codex Some nice AP and CDR for supports who want to be more aggressive with magic damage.

item 2049 + item 3134 = Some clever name An option for AD aggressive supports.

Some build ideas may not be well thought out and can be better refined but I feel like the gist of what I'm trying to communicate is on here.

Sightstone shouldn't be slot efficient.

Also you're only enabling Lee Sin/Katarina/Jax by buffing it.

Although this seems like a good idea in theory, it won't work in practice because it would be granting too much vision to each team.

If you allowed people to build SS into an AD/AP/Health route, then all of the classes would be able to purchase the item. If most of the people on one team had the ability to throw out 3 wards, on top of a pink ward each, then there would be too much vision on the map for the enemy team to make a play on your team, and the other way around.

Inherently, the main problem with warding is that nobody does it, and the SS doesn't give enough vision on its own to be effective for the team. Warding is, and always will be a team effort. The main problem is that a lot of people who play LoL aren't team players.

This makes no sense. You are assuming that mid/top laners are willing to delay their build paths to get these items. Also, your assuming that these items would even replace items that mid/top laners would us.
