I just finished a ranked game. Our team completely dominated late game with a Ryze and Vayne. Normally, when teams get to the post match screen there is much arguing and blaming. Not this time. It was so nice to see BOTH teams congratulating each other on their achievements and giving tips to those who didn't do so well and everyone being so receptive and listening. In the end, the majority of the players for both teams got honors and I got to leave the post game screen with some new names in my Friends list. It was a pleasant surprise and I only hope that I can encounter more players like that in the future.

I have games like this all the time. From my experience people tend to forget good experiences quickly and remember negative experiences for a long time. If you think you're having bad experiences in League then try the following exercise:

Play 20 games and record your experience on a notepad for each one. Say nothing that isn't integral to the game itself. IE report on enemy summoners, grouping up, or strategy, but try not to tell your bot lane how poorly they're doing. How many people were nice? How many people were rude? How many people said nothing? Did you get honored? Did you feel a need to report someone? You may be surprised at the results.

I wish games could be like this. Did some ranked 5's with friends just for ward skin(players ranging from bronze to plat). I main riven and am gold, but we were facing silver to gold players.

Got ganked by amumu against ryze top as riven. Said man nice gank but i really hate how amumus bandages snap to a wider hitbox.

INSTANTLY met with "madcuzbad, salt comments etc". Not even 2 minutes after that i started outplaying their ryze and getting doubles etc. We ended up destroying their team but were cool about it. We didnt trash talk back, and they never said another word. I don't get why people can't just be cool in games. I wonder if i will ever get a cool team like that

Hey, at least your server has some some semblance of law enforcement, some toxic people getting warned and temporarily banned and so on.

Here in LAN, the only form of community control is the leaverbuster, and let me tell you, it's a hellish community down here.

So glad you had a great ending like that! I've had one or two of those myself that I can remember, and they are the best things ever. Games like that help give some hope against all the negativity and make it worth it (even if just a little).
