Tier 2 Jungle Items and the 100 Gold Increase....
"Thus far, jungle items have gotten a little snowbally - particularly for those who can snag a few kills on an early invade to get their upgraded Smite before camps have even spawned."

"snag a few kills on an early invade"
"early invade"
"snowbally"
Isn't the point of invading to get an early lead? If people die during an invade that's their fault. If they die to the jungler, and the jungler gets enough gold to get their tier 2 item before camps spawn I say good for them. Doesn't matter if they're on my team or the enemy team. They did good getting ahead on someone else's mistake. And if the jungler can get 445 gold from an invade who's to say the adc can't and then they'll come to lane with a second doran's blade. Or the top laner does and they come to lane with a second cloth armor. Or maybe the mage in the mid lane could even pick up a second doran's ring. It sounds to me like someone is going to snowball in any of those situations. So you may as well raise the price of those items by 100 gold as well so no one else can snowball from an early invade. Clearly it's wrong to have an advantage.
Invading is risky, but it can be rewarding. If the invading party messes up they give the advantage to the defending team. If the defending team messes up they give the advantage to the invading team. Someone is most likely going to be able to snowball off a few early kills and with that little bit of extra gold. If you don't want to risk dying in an invade you either don't invade or don't fight when the enemy team invades, and then you go and invade their jungle so no one gets behind.
