Rework Master Yi
Every game I play with a Mastery Yi, we lose because he relies so hard on Late game. In team fights he is useless, split pushing he dies instantly, weak in the current jungle.
Also his kit is old and unfun.

Again?
Every Yi I've had against me/on my team ended up losing because they feed so much. They get behind from jungling, and rely on getting a first blood/assist to actually be useful in the jungle.

and then become utterly busted at the 40 minute mark. I'm aware.
Yeah, but nowadays game lasts for 25-30 minutes.

That doesn't necessarily mean he needs a full on rework.
I wouldn't be surprised to find him on a rework list soon, tbh. The ChampUP teams seem pretty dedicated to champs that need visual AND gameplay updates for now, but I bet they'll get around to yi before 2020.
Game timing has nothing to do with it.
He's a stat check champ. Those need to be eradicated from the game. Fiora is the prime example of how a shit champ like pre-rework fiora can be transformed into a champ that's actually really cool. The reset mechanic needs to go.
I can't wait til he finally gets reworked into something cool just so i can enjoy the schadenfreude of Master Yi players complaining that they can't 1v9 in Bronze anymore.
Point taken.
no, there's nothing wrong with his kit

Sorry, this is incorrect
Few melee auto attack carries are actually balanceable, Yi and Tryndamere are not included in that grp
Yi is fine
Tryndamere needs a rework because he can't operate in a teamfight and only splitpushes and wins 1v1s, yi is much more flexible

Yi has been nothing short of a balance nightmare due to his 2 "Outplay" buttons and his ridiculous cheesing of onhit items. He's also a reset champion, of which very few are actually balanced
everyone who can use on-hits abuses on-hits. it's a problem with on hit items more than anything; they lend themselves to being ridiculous on anyone they synergize with.
yi was only really an issue post-AP during feral flare and both versions of devourer, but that's not unique to him; that's because the items were stupid as fuck. anyone that could use the attack speed and unlimited on-hit or the double on-hit was ridiculous with it.

But there's melee carries that aren't poorly designed, like Fiora and, while she's a problem, to a lesser extent, Riven
what standard are you using for a well designed champion? Fiora was just as ridiculous and unfair when her bruiser builds were prevalent; I would argue that she is not well designed because a lot of her power is wrapped up in an RNG gimmick, but that's really completely subjective.
She has dynamic abilities with hard champion counters... She isn't a stat check champ by any means and, while she can carry a game, has a lot of weaknesses that prevent her from being complete horseshit. She doesn't cheese any items currently and sits in a balanced spot at just under 51% win percentage.... pretty solid considering she's relatively easy aside from her W timings.
Master Yi on the other hand is nothing short of a stat check nightmare. When he knows something big is up he doesn't time a riposte, he just Q's and exits the game for up to a second and a half. His W allows him to tank big spikes of damage as well AND NOW recharge his double strike. His highlander resets, and if Yi is ahead, he runs the rest of the team into the ground with little counterplay aside from "CC him."
I generally think that huge, extended movement speed steroids are really unhealthy and ghost has been a prime example of that recently given the fact that Hecarim and mages that cheese ghost as a second summoner spell have been especially dominant. Rework Yi into something a little more dynamic, maybe some real swordplay moves rather than just blindly slashing away unprofessionally. His Q is a mini Blade Waltz... literally the spell that spearheaded the idea that Fiora desperately needed a rework in the first place.
I don't see Yi being strong as anything other than a goddamn disaster. He's a stat checker just as bad as Xin Zhao or Aatrox. He's a complete joke and needs to be reworked.
Nah,I've seen him blow up teams instantly literally in way too many matches, both on my own team and against one lol
He's fine. All he has to do is devour bot lane and its GG lol
dafaq? just go full attack speed and have
.
what's hard on playing master yi? auto attacking with 2.50 attack speed and infinite life steal ?
