leblanc burst is too high

for the type of safe assassin she is. her burst is up there with annie yet shes one of the hardest champions to kill. i mean an assassin like ekko has to get up close to you and yet he doesn't have the burst she does. I don't understand what and who decides these numbers but they just don't seem right. sure ekko can ult. but that has a cooldown higher than leblanc flash shaco Q ult passive. veigar has 0 escapes. xerath has 0 escapes. diana has 0 escapes. and yet out of those the only one with higher burst is veigar due to his farming. if not than lb has higher base damages and higher total ap ratio due to all her abilities being damaging. veigar root isn't a nuke .leblanc can dash 3 times. on a low cooldown. kassadin has alow cooldown escape. but his base numbers are extremely low. and his ap ratios. are also extremely low. both kassadin and leblanc are assassins/mages. for what reason should anyone pick kassadin over her?. malzahar has no escapes. neither does orianna.

Leblanc is super strong but she has her weaknesses and counters Anything that can cc her when she distortions in is a good counter. If lux can q her when she distortions in the lb is screwed. Ryze can w her when she distorts in and root her, veigar can throw his stun field and she can't distort through it without getting stunned. Diana can put on her w shield when Leblanc distorts in and Leblanc takes a ton of damage and Diana takes none. I personally like brand as my LB counter, but he's harder to do it with. When Leblanc distortions in with her W, just do the brand e>q combo, set them ablaze with the e, stun her with the q, then w her for insane damage. One combo when she distorts in will pop her passive.

Um... Did you reAd my notes about Diana'? Diana does not need cc to beat her she can just shield/w her distortion...

Cc is the best way to beAt her... Yea.. You can also just play ziggs sit back and wave clear and whenever she goes to distortion on to you throw a w bomb and blow her back.

She's a pain in the ass but she's honestly not the worst.

And what is it you want man? Like how not to feed?? Since you said you didn't like the cc answer...Play safe farm and use a champ that is either got a lot of sustain or tankyness?

Vlad does well. Diana is great vs her. Gallo is fantastic vs her. Fizz is good too vs her. I mean it's not that bad

All assassins are fundamentally toxic to mages which is why this mage rework absolutely needs to happen and hopefully gives mages the ability to actually cs in lane against an assassin post 6 without them killing you whenever they want.

leblanc burst is too high for the type of safe assassin she is.

Damage potential isn't counterbalanced by speed or safety. I mean really - look at any assassin in the game. Speed is not factoring into that damage.

Damage isn't really hit by defense or range either. And with defense, mobility, and range all being factors to allow a champion to survive long enough to do their job: there is no shortage of champions in LoL that can survive some perilous situations while delivering some serious pain.

Leblanc's single-target DPS being rather high is more a case of balancing single-target DPS vs. AoE damage, or dueling power vs. team-fight power.

And LeBlanc's team fight presence is awful.

Look at any marksman, mage, assassin, or fighter and you'll pretty much always see the tools necessary to take out a solid 50% of the enemy team's collective HP. Most can hit that mark in a standard game. Caitlyn All Marksman can get their with auto-attacks alone. Annie The AoE on Mages allows a well-placed combo to hit that mark on the vast majority of those. MasterYi Assassins often have re-set mechanics to turn 1 kill into 2, and generally have strong auto-attacks to finish the job. Jax Fighters tend to have a combination of the above 3 mechanics: relying on strong auto-attacks, AoE effects, and resets to hit a 50% mark.

LeBlanc has weak marks in all 3 of those mechanics. She has decent AoE damage but it's very high risk to utilize that in damaging multiple opponents, her auto-attacks are beyond wet-noodle weak, and she has no resets on a combo with CDs that don't really allow more than 1 rotation in a typical fight. Any scenario where LeBlanc can realistically hit a 50% mark pretty much everyone else could hit a 75%~100% mark and have a good shot at a Pentakill.

LeBlanc's damage output isn't exactly high or unbalanced, as it's just all single-target burst.

Not super fun to play against, but it's not to high given what LeBlanc realistically needs to do to win. She effectively needs more gold and kills to push for a win than just about anyone else, in turn being one of the least efficient champions in the game when given gold or kills.
