So it's Taric, then Yorick, and then... Warwick maybe?

Lemme just say this about our resident werewolf...

#NO OUTPLAY POTENTIAL

That is all.

That has never counted as "outplaying" Warwick's ultimate like you would do with, say, skillshots.

Lemme ask you this: How do you make WW's ult MISS?

oh? well what about malzahar? he's the same thing. and he can oneshot a squishy carry with it. malzahar has range too, he doesn't have to be on top of someone to do it.

Easy, silence, or more cc.

Warwick's arguably a worse case because he has no flashy plays to make. All he does is attack, Q, and ult someone. BOOOOOOORING.

Additionally, because his passive is so binary, fighting him always boils down to number games, not skill.

The problem Warwick has is that he has no kit. His ult is his kit. You have pretty much just passives and farm jungle till lvl 6 until you can gank. Yes with his sustain he is a top tier pick for beginners because he just is too tanky to die in the jungle, even as a beginner.

But back to reality you just realise how much he has aged over the years (i would compare him to old Sion atm), so he is in need of an rework not because he has no counterplay (as said Quicksilver Sash pretty much destroys his entire kit) he just is so outdated (visually and gameplay wise) and has no concept other than beeing a werewolf. No kit, no uniqueness other than sustain. And there are already a lot of champions with such sutain. Sustain is still a good concept though and if he will be touched at some point i really hope he is still a sustain jungler - but better executed overall and actually enjoyable kit wise. But there is still priority of Taric and Yorick (other reworks will come this year too though, just secretly).
