Does Bard make for a better Jungle than Support?

Something I've noticed recently the times I've seen it. Just to get the record straight im not a bard hater--cool champion, cool idea and all, but i have to say I personally have yet to play with a good or at least impacting Bard support on my team since his release--often the contrary. However I have seen some very impacting Bard jungles oddly enough. His chime stack slows along with his q stun and his ability to jump through walls between his target and their tower defense make for some terrifying ganks with surprisingly high burst. Just from what ive seen.

Has anyone else played with enough Bard jungles to really judge? Just curious to hear some thoughts about this.

Also obligatory Teemo mention.

The problem with him in the jungle is it takes him about a full minute to clear any camp. This makes him easier to counter jungle then a level 2 Amumu. That and he has only 1 damaging spell that is only good if you can line a stun up with it.

Really if you pick Bard jungle, and the enemy picks LeeSin and is competent enough, you might as well just duo top.

The other thing about Bard is he is a situational pick, You need to be on the same page as your AD carry, and they have to be someone who can play safely for a bit if you go to get chimes.
