Who are your "Desert Island" Champions? Which champions would you play?

This is a LoL take-off of the question usually asked of authors and academics when they are asked which books they would take with them if they were to be trapped on a desert island. Except I am putting a twist on it...so here we go:

Imagine you could only able to play five champions for the rest of the existence of the League of Legends game (i.e., one champion more or less for each role in the game). The League devs could introduce as many other different types of champions in the meantime, but you could only play those five champions. (At least with five, you can get a bit of variety.)

So which five champions would you pick? And why?

Is it one champ for each role, or 5 champions of choice? I imagine you'd need to take 1 per role to be safe.

Sion Singed Morgana Kayn Varus

Don't even currently own or play Kayn or Varus. But they seem best in type for me. So if I wanna play jungle or adc at some point. Then they seem like champs I would not grow bored with easily.

Morgana Zyra Velkoz Anivia Karma

Basically pick these because Morg and Karma are my "Ok let's put on my ADC's safety helmet!" for when I KNOW they're going to get buttfucked by the enemy the second one tiny spell touches them. And the Mages here have enough base damage to justify some purely defensive items to survive to actually do damage if the need ever arises.

Hmm as my space for choices narrows I begin to have difficulty choosing.

Xerath, Tahm Kench, Maokai, Wukong, Ahri.

All of them because they do something unique and cool to deliver awesomely on their gameplay fantasy.

Leona My favorite support champion. Kled Best animation spam in the game when unmounted. Renekton My #1 top laner. Rumble The only mage I can use correctly. Trundle One of my OG champions I can destroy most top laners with.

Top - Garen : He's my go-to because he has a sick pirate skin and I love his personality. DEMACIA!!! Jungle - Fiddlesticks : Sick pirate skin and the only jungle champ I've ever come close to considering myself competent at playing. Mid - Swain : Sick pirate skin and I love getting fed on Swain. No other champ is as fun when fed for me as Swain. Marksman - Varus : Clicks with me almost better than any other champ. Narrowly beats out Trist because of her sick pirate skin. Support - Taric : My first bought champ and my all time-favorite. Has the best theme, the best gameplay, and the best match between the two in my humble opinion. It doesn't get better than this for champ design. The only thing wrong with him is his lack of a sick pirate skin.

Heimerdinger - For a top/mid laner he's pretty fun and simply doesn't get boring for me KogMaw - My goto mid laner and ADC when it's needed. Enjoyable kit and feels really nice knowing once your misstep you're dead. Soraka - As a support nothing is more tilting than getting a great combo off only to see Raka press W 1.5 times and the enemy AD Is back to full.
Skarner - I needed a jungler. Skarner is a chill dude who can engage decently. He is a bit to mobile for my tastes but is a chill champion to mess around with Aatrox - I don't play him often but when I do it's always a treat. His animations are just absurdly satisfying so it makes him enjoyable. Hopefully with his upcoming update he can keep these hella rad animations and such.

I tend to flip flop between champions, never really finding the replayability or depth I'm looking for. There is an exception though.

ORIANNA is always fun for me. I never put her down. Her game play never runs stale imo.

GANGPLANK is a highly rewarding champion to play, and this would give me lots of time to improve with him. There are a lot of interesting choices and micro actions to make when you play gp.

After that... Sion, Vladimir, and uhhhhhhh Kayle. I just like those champs. I play them on and off.

Jhin Ashe Bard Galio MissFortune probably.

Jhin - I'll play him anywhere. If only someone would let me try support once. Ashe - My favorite champion if we're removing Jhin from the equation. Long range arrows are too satisfying and kiting on her feels better than other champions for whatever reason. Bard - Always fun and I love playmakers. Is there a more fun ability than Magical Journey? Galio - The only top laner I honestly like to play. His ult is awesome, having the ability to assist from a decent distance is cool. MissFortune - Generally a champion I like to play, just not quite on the same tier as Jhin or Ashe. Gotta love those juicy ults that liquefy the enemy team.
