Ekko's early base damage is way too high. Annie comparison inside

This is not balanced in the slightest.

Until later levels where Annie's Ultimate is ranked up more, Ekko's E+Q combo alone does more base damage than her entire burst combo.

Take level 6 for example, if Ekko E's onto someone, and hits them with both hits of Q: Passive: 70 + 80% AP Q: 200 + 70% AP E: 111 + 40% AP 381 + 190% AP. Plus he slows the hell out of you, and gets a crazy movement speed boost to just waltz away. And this isn't counting Corrupting Potion damage either, if he is using it (which he starts with 75% of games)

Annie's Ult+Q+W: Q: 150 + 80% AP W: 70 + 85% AP Ult: 160 + 75% AP 380 + 240% AP

This does not include Tibbers autoattacks, nor does it include Ekko autoattacks after the E. Yes I am aware Annie stuns, etc. however Ekko can do his combo whenever he wants during laning phase, ESPECIALLY top vs a melee. And this isn't utilizing his full kit, it's not counting the % damage from his W or his Ultimate at all. Of course if you include those, his numbers are FAR higher, but that's a bit more situational and my point is only his harass combo is way too strong. Not to mention he can do this before level 6, it's not even like hitting level 6 gives him any more damage than at level 5 anyway. He can easily do this at level 2-5 for slightly reduced damage but the point is that he has Annie-combo levels of damage on TWO abilities not counting any additional autos. God save you if you get hit by his stun, or if he can get his W execute damage or his Ult damage on you. And on top of all of this, he doesn't have to commit to anything not only because this kind of combo by nature lets him just walk away because of the stupid movement speed buff and slow, but because he can always just Ult away whenever to undo whatever you just did to him and/or just nuke you if you are close enough to his ult point. And his ratios aren't even low either obviously.

Anyway this insane base damage is why he is built tank, you don't need to build AP when your simple combo does as much as an Annie ult combo, not counting Sheen/Iceborn, or any later autoattacks, or his W or his Ult. And that is all with so little counterplay for most champions, and with SO much in his kit to fallback on including his 2.25 second stun with his 150% AP ratio shield, and that's not to mention his Ult.. yeah.

But I won't have to deal with him really, since he is banned almost every single game. It is just incredibly annoying on the off chance that the opponent gets him. Hell it's one reason I won't ever play Blind normals, with things like this running around. I'll stick to my draft queues thank you.

Except that Ekko has to get melee range and his spells aren't insta cost no skill and they actually have counterplay

point and click roll + instant blink "COUNTERPLAY"

He means the second q hit, the 3 second delay w, and the ult that to do damage needs them to be where he was 4 seconds ago.

Congratulations for mentioning 1 outta 5 abilities,as well as the only one that isn't a skillshot,predicted/delayed. One

The problem with Ekko AND Fizz is the %HP. It gives solid damage no matter HOW they build, so they don't lose enough kill-power for using defensive items instead of ofensive ones, but when they DO build offensive items it's maddeningly overbearing to deal with.

fizz is %missing hp. So if im fizz and i q+w sion the %hp thing will do nearly nothing since he is not low. If im fizz and not building any damage and do that combo to an adc that is full health it still won't do very much damage since they were full health to begin with.

Ekko isn't Annie. Ekko is an ultility assassin. Why compare two completely different champions? Do you honestly expect every champion in the game to have the same exact base damages?

Ekko's closest comparison is Diana which in my opinion has high base damages and does more damage in general.

exactly, annie is a burst mage, ekko is a utility assasin SO WHY DOES HE HAVE THE SAME DAMAGE AS ANNIE? They were compared BECAUSE they are different.

Yeah good luck with hitting that 2nd ekko Q though. Annie doesnt even have to worry about if. All she ask is does this kill you.

Uhh sorry but your comparison is utterly stupid.

Annie is a ranged champion that is basically all point and click, W and R arent really 'skill' shots. Furthermore the cooldown on her Q is much lower.

Ekko is a squishy melee champion meaning he needs to get into a vulnerable position to do damage. His Q damage assumes you're hitting both parts which is hardly guaranteed. Additionally, Ekko is supposed to be an Assassin meaning high damage, Annie is a mage..........

Melter is supposed to outdamage ranged, or else why wouldn't we all play ranged with less risk?

His q, unlike any of Annie's skills, is a skill shot...that needs to hit TWICE...
