There is so much crit and so much damage loaded into a ranged champions kit now that it feels like you never catch up to marksmen in terms of defense vs offense. I can understand wanting to change things up but the balance right now is horrendous. I'm not sure what sane person looked at what was on the PBE and said "hey marksmen are pretty balanced with this patch."

Please utility champs are more rare than damage champs. If anything, they're more useful.
Angry Monster1 votesRiot has stated if all things are equal (levels items ect) a damage build should out do a tank build. With this philo tanks will always feel bad cause by the nature of a tank you are going to die in riot's game.

Mid game, you're usually at least lacking in one type of defense (hp, mr, or armor) and weak to any enemy that watches your build.
Late game, shredded.
Honestly, playing a tank feels like playing a support. You generally can't duel anybody on your own, and you're there to protect everyone else. Certainly that's how tanks are somewhat supposed to do (soak damage, let others deal it) but it doesn't always feel right at times. Depending on the tank, I sometimes never feel strong in that respect, unless I build hybrid items like

Z Statistic1 votesTry rushing Randuin's as your first defensive item. Might wanna go full hp. You'll naturally have more than 500 hp than an ADC by virtue of being a tank, so just go crazy with Mog's and stuff.

7ha7guy7771 votesWhat about malphite? Sheen changes mean IBG and FH cap his cdr and FH and a max rank E drops attack speed by a large amount. I don't think he'd have enough mana sustain though unless he plays support.
