Is there a reason to why Zed is never getting nerfed?

He is pick or ban, and has been that for a long time now. He can EASILY oneshot you early on with Electrocute. Why isn't this braindead champ getting any nerfs?

He doesn't need nerfs, that's why he isn't nerfed.

Pretty easy and btw the Gameplay Boards should be removed.

Yeah, when he misses all of those, he can hit 6... all in you instantly and still kill you regardless of how well you played the lane so far. Push him in? Has the easiest LH of CS in the game under tower. Never can miss pretty much.

Playing the matchup definitely means that you can't pick first since not everyone can actually punish a Zed. I've definitely played matchups where I dodge all of his skillshots pre 6. Feeling good. I'm Ziggs. I'm empowered AAing him when he misses his Qs and I hit him with Q and E in return. Then 6 hits, he R's me. Misses 2 of his shurikans, but still I die under tower.... this was before he had items. So definitely not 'Items are op' when they didn't buy them. Definitely my bad for not dodging his ultimate and impossible to miss W.

my man, ziggs is countered by all assassins. and some others. pick a safe champ. post 6, ahri, zed, talon, wukong, vlad, yasuo, fizz, more even, beat ziggs.

Ziggs was a safe pick at the time. He just shoved waves. He sucks at it now though. This was a couple years ago... before the assassin rework (so before the 'People people... the items are op!' argument could come in). I stopped playing mid because of Zed... and I had to hope they banned Zed or LB (because this was before everyone gets their own ban)

This happened on: Velkoz Ziggs Heimerdinger Veigar Xerath

Nothing has changed about Zed really. His core of "shove shove shove miss everything miss everything, then lvl 6 / r coming back up it doesn't matter you're ded" has relatively remained unchanged. I am silver elo, but I didn't want to spend 15 games just getting my ass pounded and losing my games to better perfect the matchup. His kit is just designed to have limited counterplay and retaliation. Yes you can go in when he loses all of his cooldowns, but he is super slippery with his shadows so waiting out his shadows means he can regen a lot of energy.

well i love the argument is always "Zed so bad. Counterplay so ez! Just play right." You play right "Just get zhonya's" then "oh well zed just does well against all those champions." lol

Hence why I said "counterplaying zed means you can't first pick"... or play mages at all really since you're FP. You did just make it seem sooooooo easy! It's just the items that OP... despite this being what zed does WITHOUT the items.... since BEFORE the items came out even. But yes. Just the items are what make zed do what zed does. Then 2) "just play the matchup correctly" which morphed into "Oh man. no self peel despite them having CC. zed just does well against those."

I was just saying it's not as easy as everyone just makes it out to be imo.

Also I did expand my champion pool. I switched roles... which counts. Since what I enjoyed mid was hard stuffed by one champion during a time where I couldn't control the ban for my lane.

ahri. ryze. asol is decent vs zed, but not in the 1v1, his roams are more impactful. liss, kayle, malz, like what?

Asol wasn't around when I played mid. I don't like Ahri / Ryze / Lissandra / Kayle or the version of Malzahar that was around. I'm not going to play a role for long on champions that I don't enjoy because of a champion like Zed. A lot of people forget that LoL is a game... you play for fun. So... for me playing a champion is fun. Winning isn't the sole joy of the game. So I switched roles because of Zed. I still frequently ban Zed because he's just one of those champions whose kit I dislike having in my game.

This is also ignoring that when I did have a ban... it came down to... do I want to get stuffed by LB or Zed. Since if I had 1 of the 3 bans, I could only ban one.

Did I say broken? I just said he lacked counterplay for a lot of champions. Look at your list even. Most of your list are people who have native counter to Zed ult on their kit. Kayle / Lissandra ult to escape his ult. Malzahar just ults to wait out the duration of his ult and murderize you in return. Most people say "Just buy Zhonya's" as well. While it is convincing that you need to itemize correctly, I think Zed is a particularly amplified version of having to itemize against him. It's probably not a good design if you have to buy one item even if it is bad for your champion or you just lose.

When you say stuff like "You're just not playing the matchup correctly." but then it does boil down to... lots of champions are just countered by zed in mid lane. That also suggests something might be iffy about a kit. That's the reason I brought up what I brought up. It was really part of the essence of my point... There's a lot of champions you can't play versus Zed. It's not as simply boiled down to what you were saying. Hence... can't first pick. lol

You can ad hominem all you want to try to distract from the conversation. Doesn't mean it's anything but a dodge of the conversation. This is really not an example of common sense. It's more in the field of deductive reasoning.

So i cant blame the main majority of the mages because most mages are immobile because of one character?
