With the preseason, please be aware of manipulative videos.

I'm using this video as an example because it's a great show of how you can use a misleading video to get a point across.

The video is obviously trying to make a point that the new rift herald is broken. I'm not here to argue about it from an actual balance perspective. Instead, I want to draw points to the other aspects:

• The red team (Herald's team) is double the kills of blue team at 18 kills. At 21 minutes. Along with quadruple their towers.
• There is a 7k gold difference between the teams.
• There's around a 1-2 level difference between bot lane. This likely means Jinx/Thresh are far more fed than Lucian/Bard
• This is off the back of a 20 minute team fight with three of the enemy team dead.

With all this in mind, does this make Rift Herald having an uncontested push the reason for blue-side's loss? Highly unlikely. With 20-30 second respawn timers, the only thing that would have really been changed is maybe taking only the inhibitor. In actuality, herald isn't the reason they lost. Herald is merely a catalyst that lets you skip fighting for a surrender vote with one guy who thinks you still got this.

Please be acutely aware of these videos and check every detail of them. Regardless of what you think of the midseason update, it's best to argue or present points with the least room for error rather than present a video like this as unequivocal fact.
