Talon is just sad :(

most of my games I get really fed with Talon but I can't carry any of those games cuz the new Talon is just sad. I can't really assassinate anyone in a real team fight unless the enemy team are stupid enough to let me go through them to get to their adc or midlaner , and if I use ult or e to engage I'll get deleted as soon as I appear. in this game I was 20/3 when ezreal was like 7/2 but still I can't even reach him to deal the damage and he can kill me before I get to him and I didn't even bother to use q since he will just e away. needeless to say I didn't even try to kill ezreal for the rest of the game. I really don't understand what Talon is supposed to do in a game to help win.

the only games I won with Talon are the ones that someone else carried . the ones where I get Fed I can't seem to win like ever.

u may say I need to roam and help other lanes get fed but I don't even play Talon mid cuz every mid champion can bully Talon in lane realy hard and stop him from roamin wich makes it stupid to even go with him mid so the only reasonable place to go is top cuz most top laners are melee so u can actually have a chance fighting them but if u play him top u can't realy roam that much unless for a tp bot lane wich u can only do ones every 5 min and if u save tp for roaming.

I really loved this champ. but I can't even take him to ranked anymore.

I do miss the old Talon. He has crazy numbers now, but in a teamfight he just can't single out the backline before he's dead.

When everyone is split up, he's an assassin through and though, but when everyone is grouped, he's got to play like a bruiser or a slayer like Yasuo, because he can barely touch the backline before he's dead.

Reminds me of how I feel about the Fizz rework... At least our champs didnt turn out to be as "garbage" as Shaco and LeBlanc right? Kappa123

Try picking him against immobile adc's. The point of the rework is to make assassin's more of a situational pick and less of a 'one size fits all' play talon into the likes of jhin cait and mf. Also I personally like to go with edge of night and duskblade. 'There is currently a bug which allows duskblade to prock on his q'. With edge of night it allows him to survive so much better and if they still have cc take qss. I take storraiders for getting out after a kill. Also flanking is huge. If you have mobi boots and some of the lethality items you should be running around the fight looking to come in from behind. Best of luck on learning to play him better tho.

If you can kill the enemy you should be able to take towers. If you are going in, killing someone, then going o I better back now. You are doing it wrong.

I don't know why you say only Rengar and Kha'zix can do their jobs? They've made the assassins a bit more challenging to play in general, but they can still delete people. I was playing post rework leblanc and couldn't believe it. They slowed down slightly her damage delivery with that one second delay, but once you get the timing right with her, her damage feels higher than before. The only assassin in my opinion that got really shafted was Shaco. But even he's finding his niche with AP builds.

Now I haven't played Talon since his rework, but you gotta admit his wall hoping was a huge buff to his roaming. And maybe they put too much of his power budget in that ability (see Rek'Sai with tremor sense for another example). But last game I played against Talon, he was getting triples every time he dove into our team. I don't call that weak.

If you're super fed, yet struggle in teamfights, why not force pressure elsewhere. You're a fed AD assassin, you can take towers well and probably kill any single person who tries to stop you. And if they send two or more, then your team should be able to win 4v3 or take objectives elsewhere.

enjoy talon now friend, he's a second jungler for the team while not being able to kill an adc in teamfight unless the enemy team is stupid

all assassins and talon in particular have this problem you can either be an assassin that destroys laning faze and wins by either setting the enemy mid very far behind or ending very early. There is no fix to this without braking one party or another. The whole principle of an assassin is unbalanced so they made it so you have to choose between teamfight/late game (Kassadin, Katarina, etc) or laning power (Talon, Zed, etc) or broken (LeBlanc, Rengar, Kha'zix)
