Till he gets nerfed. Yeah. But he has always been top and mid. Just less prominently because he wasn't as strong as he is now.
Yes but reason for that are skillshot mages and tanks. He can deal with both. Once assassins come back to meta he is out.
MF was someone's answer to zyra and malzahar that was surprisingly effective. Lucian is able to do to mages what assassins used to do to them. Not the same since now that zyra and malz are less effective you see less MF. Lucian won't go away unless the lower his early game synergy with bork.
I see him played more in top and mid then bot now; its kinda weird.
No, it's different. Mf support was because a pro team played her as a Zyra counter and combo ulted with ashe while utilizing black cleaver well. Lucian is just op af and can be played anywhere.
