If Yasuo is a permabanned champion, why not just change something about him ?!

If Riot doesn't want him to become permabanned maybe the best solution would be gutting the shit out of him changing his kit entirely, like removing his double crit chance passive. there is definitely a reason why no one wants to see him in the rift

theres always a reason a champ is perm banned, honestly I feel yasuo is one of those perm banned champions that needs a mini rework because certainlyt just has to make his champions overloaded af

What's annoying is his completely unlimited and unrestricted dashes. He's stupidly annoying to land skill shots on. And while some mobility is intentional, this becomes stupidly frustrating in large fights and/or with large minion waves. Take Ahri, for comparison, who's ultimate is 3 dashes. That's her ultimate. My worst memories of yasuo aren't necessarily ones where he hypercarries (plenty of champs do that) but where this mobility made my champion feel completely useless. As a nautilus support, I couldnt even hope to land my hook, and I've been in games where after casting my R on him, he moves quickly enough to kill my whole team before the spell even lands.

No champ should be able to completely ignore such a massive part of so many other champions' kits like that.

Yasuo's double crit passive isnt the reason people don't like him...

  • Yasuo is a popular champion, especially on release. So getting to play him at all was difficult. (frustration begins)

  • Yasuo looks like an EZ champ when you are watching him, but then when you finally play him, he isn't. (Frustration building)

  • Memory bias: Enemy Yasuo always carries, teammate Yasuo always feeds. (Frustration intensifies)

  • Yasuo can be a frustrating lane opponent, because dashes. Normally, a frustrating lane opponent isn't enough to push over the top, but we have other factors (see above). Heimmerdinger is way more frustrating in lane than Yasuo imho. But no one wants him permabanned... (cuz he isnt as popular? my guess)

EVERY part of Yasuo's kit has been called out for his current state of "unfair, unfun" biased unfounded hatred.

  • Confirmation Bias: Yasuo is complained about on the boards a lot, so he MUST be broken and unfair/unfun.

This is why Yasuo is so hated. Unfun to play against? I submit that Heimmerdinger is way worse to deal with in lane than Yasuo.

Memory bias is self disproving: If the enemy Yasuo always carries, than Yasuo would always carry because he is always someones enemy. If teammate Yasuo always feeds... you get the point.

His kit works together to make him playable. The only part of his kit that I would call "extra" or "unneeded" is his ult placing him outside of tower range, regardless of his position to the target. It should always be in melee range of a target affected, outside of tower IF POSSIBLE. If the target is standing almost right next the turret itself, he should risk the dive like any other champion.

The problem isn't the champion himself, its the stigma the community has put on him and his players.

He isn't op, its just people don't stop complaining about him

Remove his crit and you'll get a bruiser with added ad.

Crit keeps him squishy as he is, imagine him with lethality and tank Remove it and you get that result in the end

You'll reap what you sow Mwuahahaha

I hope people realize that if you remove double crit passive he will be played as a bruiser and also his crits have reduced damage idk why people hate him so much he can get shit on so easily

Change his Flow/Shield passive to work like Fury. He builds it up by moving, and his spells consume it. It maintains his need to always wanting to be moving around, and with the right numbers, could maintain an acceptable laning phase. It'd give a lot more room to adjust balancing without completely gutting or reworking him.
