before his E update he was just an ult bot but now he can use every spell very significant due to the slow on his E.
reduces damage dealt by 60%, in the case of 
you deal significantly more damage with R and are nearly Immortal.
It doesn't seem right to me that he doesn't lose the 60% damage by using the active of that item.
Stoneplate should have any of it's interactions frankly. It's just silly.
Cho finally becomes usable and we need to gut him already lol.
An easy fix would be to make his ult scale with permanent HP only, and ignore temporary hp buffs - which essentially excludes just the stoneplate, a potion, and Lulu's ult.
Why isn't his ulti affected by the 60% dmg reduction.
Stone should lose it's effectiveness with some items too, like Locket.
Make it so that only half, or even less, of the bonus health given by the active actually counts towards abilities' and items' health scalings.
The temporary health boost isn't OP by itself, it's the synergy it has with a couple particular cases, Cho and locket in particular.
Dealing against a 16k HP Cho'Gath who just ult your whole health bar is not fun...Doesn't even require to damage you, Ult= You die.. Remove this synergy.
Nah, he should keep it.... The reason why is because sometimes your teammates can't group on someone correctly, so you will have to do it yourself. Imagine a super fed 27,0 Fiora and she stomps your whole team? just press stoneplate and ult and she's gone, no more fiora problem

so when he pop just walk aways
keep counting his flash time so he cant flash ult
GA is also ok
cho's ult only deal about 2000 true damage , let ur support build 
will barely survive his ult
big shield ability like karma,janna,lulu can also protect your team well
@thread Why... dont we change stoneplate to give you base HP instead of bonus, so interactions like this just dont happen....? We could also change cho's ult to base health instead of bonus too. Either works.
