But supports still feel like they dont get enough recognition which is absurd... in every1 of my games if my support does good, its pointed out.. But if 1 does bad, he pulls the "im just the support" card.. As if you are exempt from playing at the same level as us cuz ur the "support"... I have nothing against supports.. I just dont agree with how a lot of them pull double standards.

It doesn't really matter to me that much, now that I think about it. Usually the ADC can identify if the Support is good early on and vice versa.
The only thing that slightly irks me is that Top or Mid have no way of identifying if a support is good, so if I choose not to use my ult in a bad fight I sometimes hear things like "Nami ult???" like I'm some kind of scrub who doesn't know how to play my role. Or when ADC or the Support get flamed individually by Top/Mid and the only person that can actually stand up for them is the Support/ADC.
Dreadlocks1 votesThen chances are they are the bad player, in which case you're never going to get a positive thing out of them anyways because they're always going to point the finger at someone else for their mistakes anyways.. As a jungle main, i can usually identify if my support is good based on how he responds to 1 of my ganks. Mid should have a similar experience just not as many.. and as for Top, i could understand because he is on an island anyways xD

But honestly, i shouldn't have to.. Its not like we have to say "thanks Velkoz for building ap" or "thanks ashe for building damage"... its what the role does... and if you light up the map like a x-mas tree, you've done your job, and no1 can bitch.. if you arnt placing wards though, even in shitty spots is better than none at all when you are behind.. then ofc sm1 is going to call you out.. You arn't immune to criticism just cuz ur playing support.. Again, I respect all lanes and roles equally for their contribution for the team.. I don't really have a "special treatment" for support or any other lane.. Support players just tend to hold a double standard more than other roles, thats my only issue.
Edit: I'd also say the enemy team is generally the first to give you the extra recognition you are looking for.. if your ADC is fed and the end game chat is blowing up, sm1 is bound to point out that they are only fed cuz X support carried them.
Or, "holy shit my team wouldn't focus soraka" or... "jesus that jana was so annoying i couldn't even touch the adc" or "my god that alistar wouldnt die even though he was in the middle of all 5 of us, fucking broken" ...or......."jesus why does support brand do so much goddamn damage"
... Think you get the picture.. Supports prob get more recognition than they even notice.

AbsoluteSadman2 votesMaybe not resistances but a good chunk of mages get liandries/rylais/roa or some combo of them. A lot of pure mages end up with a very solid amount of hp
SteelMankind6 votesROA, Liandries, and Rylais is about the most HP you can get on a mage without seriously sacrificing damage. They give 1100 health, so at level 18 with that build youd be looking at 2900-3100 health, a far cry from 3000-4000.
Very few mages can skip Void Staff (maybe just Ahri and Vel'Koz?). Rabadons is a bit different, as its not that great on champs with low AP ratios, but its still gonna be good as a 6th item even on them.
So I dont think you can say that mages are running around with 3k-4k HP, decent resists, and having super high burst. Pick 2 of the 3, maybe, but definitely not all at once.
