They were so caught up asking if they could...

They never bothered to ask if they should.

Pyke

What doesn't this character have? CC, check. Sustain, check. Stealth, check. Mobility, check. Lane presence, check. Damage, a single check mark doesn't cut it.

I understand why they made a tried to make an assassin support. I don't understand why they thought it was a good idea.

He has no wave clear, he is squishy, and he is slated to receive a nerf so that he cannot be played effectively in solo lanes.

He doesn't have any sort of healing/shielding or any other form of real peel other than a knockback and a stun. Pretty crucial for most supports. It's like complaining about Zyra.

Jurassic Park. That quote is so powerful that it's effective to us all in real life. Even to riot.

You sir, I like.

While I agree that Pyke is somewhat a bad design, I don't think that statement is most effective to him. Compared this to champions like Akali and Irelia, that statement is most fitting to them than Pyke.

Actually now to think of it, Pyke's ulti can make his team snowball really fast. A double kill is a 1200 gold for his team which is a lot.

I could understand if he was something similar to Bounty Hunter in Dota 2 but they took the idea of a support assassin a little too far.
