What was the least healthy meta for game diversity?

The one where Riot said "Hey, are you a tank? No? Then fuck you." The best way to deal with that was with Vayne, Kog, Fizz, and anyone else with decent true damage or good %-health damage ratios.

It sucked if you didn't play those few champions or liked tanks, but it was a great time for Trundle and Zac to shine (although, not many people chose either of them, which was a huge shock to me).

Do you think Nami needs buffs ?

Not currently (get it?), no. Nami has great CC and some nice utility and ratios that can help her and her team out quite handily, especially if building AP. She's personally one of my favourite supports to play and she has amazing synergy with characters like Vayne and Yasuo who are contested picks right now. With great synergy with Yasuo's ult and the ability to make Vayne un-touchable through giving her a huge movement speed boost as well as a slow and damage amplification, she can co-carry plenty of teams. While not the best support out there, she's definitely a welcomed pick and you can't go wrong with choosing her.

G&B voting has been particularly harsh lately, how you doing CW?

I've got a bit of a curveball for you. Do you think it's healthier for the game for higher ELO meta and lower ELO meta to be more or less different?

In other words, is it better in your opinion if the stuff Challenger - Pro tier players do to never work in Bronze - Silver or to usually work?

Well, it depends on the strategy. For example, hypercarry comps usually work better in lower level play because nobody knows how to deal with it, whereas they don't work so well in higher level play unless you build a "protect the X" composition. You don't ever see lower tier players doing lane swaps because it rarely works out for them, whereas higher tier players can pull it off effectively. Strategies shift as you get better, and it will always be that way. So, yes, I think it's better that the higher-tier meta-game is vastly different from the lower-tier meta-game. You should play what works for you in the situation you're given. Not what you think might work because you saw X streamer do it against players who are accustomed to it the situation.

Opinion on Bard. Up to you whether or not you go into details.

Trolly-ass son of a bitch, but I love him to pieces unless he abandons me on a chime-spree and I get dove and killed under my tower and he gets mad at me for dying as Draven against a Thresh/Jinx. He can get tanky, and his utility and damage are rarely lacking. Great all-around pick and amazing in certain situations, especially with his ultimate.

If you were running the balance team, what would the next patch look like for midlaners?

I tried applying to Riot's balance team once.

That said, I would look at some early-game Zed and Orianna nerfs, as well as some slight Cho'Gath, Zyra, and Vel'Koz damage nerfs as well. With those champions out of the way and no longer suffocating the game by being completely bullshit in mid-lane, I would:

Nerf Annie's Q damage slightly Nerf Yasuo's first and second Q scaling slightly Fix the bug with Yasuo's Wind wall where it blocks things far behind it even though it shouldn't. Ahri's Q would give her a burst of speed depending on what level the skill is, capping out at what it is currently at level 5. Reduce the damage of Malzahar's E to champions by 1/4th Reduce the shield strength as Lux's W comes back to her Make all of Ryze's spells AoE while Desperate Power is up, but increase its cooldown by 30 seconds at each rank. Buff Kassadin by increasing the range of his ultimate to 625 so it's actually useful as an engage.

There's a lot I want to change about this game, these are just a few for mid-laners.

Do you, honestly, think it's fair that champs who require minimal effort (and often don't have to even aim) can instantly kill people while harder, more demanding champs just pale in comparison? What would you say to justify that if you were Riot?

I feel like champions that are harder to play should be more rewarding, but I understand that some champions need to exist that are easier to play but also powerful. Annie, for example. I feel like having an AoE stun on a champions so easy to play is a little silly, and perhaps only her Q should stun, but at the same time, I don't want to make her completely un-viable, you know? Every champion should be seen as viable, but no champion should be too strong. That said, there are far more champions, in my opinion, that reward good play than those that don't.
