Why do we get Ornn so soon?
Wasn't Kayne released like 2 weeks ago? He wasn't even of free rotation yet. I got used to 2 mounths break every release, was this time changed?

Champions tend to have general release time from what I understand but that doesn't mean they will rush out/delay a champion's release date just to have a set time frame. Riot used to do that back when they released a champion every 2 weeks and the results weren't great.
So though they staggered the champion teams depending on how long it takes them to finish each new champion the release dates will vary. Maybe the Kayn team took longer (probably due to his extra assets and whatnot) or maybe the Ornn team finished much sooner. Or it could have been that their previous projects let them both start champions closer to each other.
Basically there is no "Release a champion on this patch.", rather it is a "Release a champion when it is done."
Maybe you are right but for something like 2 years we got champ every 2 months. This got changes with after Camille when we waited longer but we got 2 champs (Rakan and Xayah) at once and then got back to 2 months. Right now it seems like we will get either new or reworked champ every months. Quoting KNTE Lukas from another discussion:
January: Rework Team A (WW) Feburary; new Champ (break becasue April) March Rework Team B (galio) April: new Champ (Xayah and Rakan) May: Mid-season (vanguards) June: new Champ (Kayn) July: Rework Team A (Galio) August: new Champ (Ornn) September: Rework Team B (evelynn) October: new Champ November: pre-season (runes) December: new Champ
U forgot Swain :)

I don't mind the new champs, I mind them not being broken as hell like Kayn.. I don't understand how a champion that ults can gain more than 1.500+ health + 1 shotting anything or anyone with thunderlords and duskblade. That item needs an adjustment because it seems to be a consistent issue with any champ it's used on, either way Kayn did not need that ult buff or anything else.
Really? I think Kayn was too weak on release and that ult buff helped him. Now he's quite strong because Duskblade and DFT bug

Well, they buffed only the shadow form. And Kayn still can't hit 50 % winrate. Annoying doesn't equal strong. There are champions with like 55 % winrate and noone cares about them, but you complain about sub 50% champ. If you don't want to lose to him, don't feed. Play safe etc.
