Akali gets heavy range and damage nerfs on the PBE....
Zed loses some attack speed.
Fizz gets compensation buffs for losing damage on Q.

Akali needs nerfs, honestly, these nerfs aren't even that bad for her. It is just a minor loss of mobility and actually having to auto a person to activate your Q, instead of being able to brush past them, hit E, then get out without taking minion aggro.
And Zed needs some nerfs too, because he is a champion that is not to hard to master (if you have some free time to play a few dozen games with him). Once you master him, you find he has no real weaknesses, and tons of strengths. He may not be OP, but he is too much of an all-rounder. He needs clear strengths and clear weaknesses, and I am surprised that all Riot has done to him is reduce his attack speed a bit.
I suspect that Riot is a bit afraid of nerfing Zed right now. They appear to be putting a lot of faith in getting televised and that requires that they have showy champs who can get the crowd to roar in approval. Zed's abilities allow that, but only if he's been able to keep up with the other team's champs in regards to levels and equipment. I think its the same with Lee Sin. He's a flashy champion who can put on plays that might be exciting to non-players.
After all a good long laning phase where the two champs mostly stalemate each other and no one goes all in might be impressive to a regular player who can see all the strategy and skill, but it would likely be very boring to someone who is thinking. "It's a bunch of pixels moving around." A great example is one game I watched on Youtube from Spring 2014 where CounterLogic Gaming beat Curse in about 26 minutes. The final kill score was 4-0 and the first kill came about 23 minutes in. For me the game was surprisingly tactical and I thought I picked up quite a bit, but to anyone who didn't understand the plays it was 20+ minutes of Curse constantly retreating just a little as CLG bullied them out of the game. Riot doesn't want games like that being televised. It would be like televising the finals of a Magic: The Gathering Tournament (which I've stumbled onto on TV once and I have to say watching grass grow is more exciting.)
