Shes really not even op. The community needs to stop synonymizing "new" with "op". Realize if she ends up actually being any kind of powerful congrats you let her get to that point. Due to the fact 3/4 of her abilities also scale off of ap and have low base values her ability damage is actually quite low looking at it, and she can no longer deal true damage, so if you build the slightest bit of armor now, or even a lil magic resist, she's literally null and void. I have lost all but one game with irelia and I know how she works. but her win rate since she's been released is already 48%. I don't know why they thought to make more than half her kit have AP modifiers, probably because old relia had them, and they were like yea sure PUT EM ON. So if you don't awkwardly build her hybrid now she deals no damage and unless you want to build 400 AP for that sweet sweet 100% damage reduction on her W, but also if you build AP your ult will actually deal damage and so will your E. And I can assure you with the way they WANT you to build her your Q won't mean jackshit inside of her ult if you get CCd or there's more than say 2 people in it because the heal also doesn't really do anything off of it. She's honestly so underwhelmind and people can disagree. Cinematically she's beautiful in every aspect, but her damage is extremely low right now imo especially in top lane where one armor item is what will screw you over from the get go and god forbid you play against anyone who's ranged or has a slow especially if you Q is down because everyone knows her W doesn't punish in any way.

I think either people forgot about it or they simply don't mind irelia as much as other champs.
