Can ascension be a permanent mode maybe in the future?

Like I love the rift, but the rift is like an hour of game time. I have very little free time so Ascension is nice to have. Plus it's really the only free for all type game mode, or as close to one, as we have and I like just fighting without objectives sometimes. It's just a nice alternative to the rift sometimes. I'm not into ARAM cause I like choosing my champion and TTL is basically a lower Rift. Idk just my two cents.
