I get yet another chunk of loses in ranked, because i have a team that does not understand any mechanics at all. I thought i would get gold and find people who knew what they were doing. Instead, i consistently do better than everyone on my team, and lose most every game. If you don't know how to play, stay in normals, so i don't queue with you.

And honestly, you'll probably meet bads much further up too; all they have to do is win more than half their games, depending on their MMR. Your concern is valid and understandable, but nothing can be done about it except maybe to do 5v5 team games instead; it's the only way to avoid them completely (unless you invited them to join you).
HerMisterFortune1 votesLeague needs to come up with a better match making system. Start grouping people based on how well they play their roles. If i can get a few hundred farm in a 30 minutes game, and my idiot mid lane just got 75, it should realize that mid laner has no business anywhere near my rank. Or if you win a game with bad score, you should not gain as much. And as i just lost a game with 12-4-13, with highest farm on the team, i should lose way less points than if i just had lowest farm and 0-9-3.
