At what point is feeding intentional

Just had a game, 8 minutes in, already 4 deaths by our adc and 4 deaths by our top laner. Game was 100% over. Nexus destroyed at 20 minutes. A person who refuses to listen to the team and tower hug after dying in their lane, who then proceeds to feed that hard is feeding on purpose yes?

When the player is meaning to feed. There is no threshold for an intentional feeder, by definition.

Dying a lot doesn't mean intentionally feeding.

If your 0-15 Sivir ADC is pushing till she dies every respawn, but is doing so in an effort to kill towers and tries to escape when attacked, she's not intentionally feeding. It doesn't matter that she's dying a lot, because she's still trying to win and playing how she believes will win her team the game.

If your 14-0 Udyr wanted red after he got his 14th kill and you stole it while he's across the map, and he decides to suicide dive the enemy team and give shutdown gold out of spite towards you, it doesn't matter that he's 14-1, he still intentionally fed that kill.

Usually you can tell the difference. If they are getting tower dived repeatedly and dying then that is them just getting destroyed. If even vastly behind they run to the enemy tower or try to 1v1 or even more noticably walk to them and let them kill them, that is feeding.

Sometimes dying a lot isn't feeding when the enemy just downright destroyed you and the jungle isn't trying to save you, which means you just die even more. But when you are dying a lot and still try to fight them like you have a chance, that is feeding.

Just because they don't listen to the teams advice or play well does not mean its intentional. They could just be new or bad. For real, the first like, fifty games i played i had absolutely no clue about hugging towers and zone/kill potential.

There is a difference between purposely dying(intentional feeding) and just being reckless or unaware of how to play safely . Its a tough call to make sometimes.

I am playing in Gold/Plat range, people should know by this point that if you are behind you need to hang back and not engage. I hold people who have played long enough to reach plat to a much different standard than i would a lvl 20 account. These people should have a very complete understanding of the game. I do not understand how people with so little idea of how the game works make it that far anyway.

But at this level of play, it seems inexcusable to feed a kill every minute of a game.

I'm mostly just raging since i have gone from G1 to G5 to G3 to G5 and can not get to plat. I win so many games just fine, then it puts me on teams with people who will feed 20 kills before 10 minutes before i have much time to impact the game. It puts me at a point where i am not going to carry people that bad. Nothing to be done, i don't win or lose a game based on my skill, it is luck pure and simple. I dont even need a great team to win, i can carry people who go even, but when the enemy has double my gold theres nothing to be done. They need to find a way to rank people beyond win/loss rate

So what i gather is your saying i have the best luck to be getting every person who has payed for their account on my team on the 1 day they decide to play on their own? for 15 straight games?

HerMisterFortune10/13/2015, 11:49:09 PM1 votes

Also, when you have a Nasus, and you refuse to group as 4, cause your Nasus is top, you don't deserve to play ranked. It is a very simple concept, yet i lose another game after spending 15 minutes saying group AS THE NASUS and no one on the team will. IDIOTS

HerMisterFortune10/13/2015, 11:51:25 PM1 votes

So does refusing to group for 15 minutes count as refusing to communicate with your team?

When it's intentional.

If they are just getting crushed and/or camped, then it isn't intentional and you are just devaluing your own reports.

Tilt is not Intentional feeding. For example if u go to trade as 0 5 is intentional feed. , but when u dont check the bush and ur opponents ambush u 1v2 that is tilt (not intentional feeding).

But there is a point when you just walk into the enemy without any thought and die 4 times within seconds, not even a minute of spawn, that this should be considered intentional. Or you could call it refusing to listen to team when they are screaming tower hug.
