if he built 1 or 2 damage items like titanic/cleaver then we would have something to talk about, but ATM his only purpose is to run down squishies and flip em into the team. he at no point melts your face off like a "fighter" (xin or yi) even darius does it better.

but typically his most effective job is sponge + poke with axes.
he does have the dual potential.

Deal high damage and be very tanky with little team utility or CC.
Meep Man2 votesDude, just because someone builds 6 defensive items doesn't make them a Tank. Volibear builds so much HP because it actually increases his damage with W, so he technically IS getting damage from those items.
