I know I'm going to down vote hell, but please, PLEASE buy a Sightstone as support

I know this may anger some support players, but please buy a Sightstone.

I don't think it has to be your first item, but I do think you should have one by 20 minutes in.

Reasons to have a Sightstone:

-You can get a sweeper, which denies vision from enemies, which can also prevent a teleport flank (Which, as a top lane main, I have won games off of as Darius and Maokai)

-There are enough wards on the map so the Mid Laner and ADC can get blue trinket, which helps scout ahead for things like Baron and Dragon.

-Vision means that your ADC won't get caught as easily (he might not check his mini map, but he will see things in view range like the enemy Jungler.)

Sightstone is a decent item for supports since they have a small budget to build items. That said, supports are not obliged to buy any item because it is necessary for you. If you really that item, then you can buy it yourself if your support refuses to do that.

As a side note: I don't like when supports don't buy sightstone.

Sometimes when Ima a mid lane Mage, I'll man up and buy item 2301 and a sweeper, but only after asking him over and over again to buy one.

I'm not trying to get upvotes. I'm just pissed at having a Brand who bought no Sightstone, went full AP, and fed his ass off.

Some games just don't need a sightstone. When behind you can't always put up a vision screen which is when you need it most. And depending on your team you could be so far ahead and tanky/vs low burst that it wont matter that the enemy gets an ambish off.

Plus if you go to 5man rolling death squad really early the FoTM or frost queen could actually be better for your team.

But I always upgrade trinket on first back after 9 sometimes I even back JUST to get the trinket if nothing is happening right that second.
