I'm just curious as to if there are any champions whose build order/general gameplay have gone completely unaffected by this patch- I haven't played since the Juggernaut patch, and after reading the patchnotes for 5.22, I'm wanting to start off slowly and work my way back into the game. Is anything salvageable?
Most AP champs build pretty much the same way.
Most tanks can itemize as they used to, I find.
If you manage to work your Masteries right, Most of the champions can be built pretty much the same. Since there are almost no new AP items, the go to items that mages used to get are still the same, even if they are worth more now. Tanks can still dominate the games, but now you NEED an actual damage dealer to help you win it (cant just run up to the enemy with voli get a penta and walk out like nothing happened anymore), All in all, the game is really just the same it has been since i started playing (Season 4), just that now, games are faster and the focus is marksmen instead of tanks or assasins.
Only champions that were harshly nerfed this patch are offensive junglers, snowballers due to the lw nerf, and adcs who need to go late game excluding vayne who still needs a 3% max hp true damage nerf. Other then that you can play any champion with 1-3 different mastery setups so far from what I seen
