phantom dancer aatrox viable?

Crit's not very good unless you're getting enough of it to be reliable, so that part of the item's not great. On the other hand, it gives great dueling, which is what Aatrox wants to do anyway. The rest of the item is pure gravy, and this page http://www.elophant.com/league-of-legends/item/phantom-dancer/win-rate says it significantly improves his win rate. I don't know how good the build path would be, but the completed item would be pretty good in a split-push scenario.

Would be fun to try. I would start off with Death Dance because it helps sustain Champs immensely through its bleed passive and gives CDR--I wouldn't buy it until I also had a defensive item up.

The earlier you buy the PD, the worse it would be. The critical chance would make up a larger percentage of your gold-income spendature that could otherwise be spent on stats that actually help Aatrox.
