This is STUPID! SIX+ YEARS to fix it and you've made it WORSE?!

Our Bronze 4's were levels 53 and 63. My team played like absolute garbage, but I'm not upset at them, I'm upset for them. They played bad because they're basically beginners. I knew before I even looked at OP.GG, just based on their mechanics and their complete lack of macro comprehension. I could see it with my own eyes it was so obvious. And you allowed them to be queued against two players well over level 100?! Morg barely has all her summoner spells, for heaven's sake!

I don't think I've ever felt so terrible for my teammates in League. Ever. Even when I used to feed 20 kills per game because I didn't know what I was doing yet.

By the way, their >100's were a duo queue, too.

Riot. I remember from the day I started playing, people were complaining about matchmaking. Other MOBAs matchmake games just fine. I never have trouble with matchmaking in DOTA. I never have trouble in HotS. Paladins? Nope. I didn't even have trouble in Paragon! But you can't fix this nonsense after all this time?

And, as I said, it's WORSE than I ever remember it being. I'd get mismatches like this maybe once every tenth game back in the day. Now, it's every second or third game. It's not just to my detriment, by the way. Just yesterday I made a post ranting about how you made me feel like crap for ruining some newbie's day in mid.

Why is your algorithm allowing actual newbies to queue with >100 M7 duo queues this often? This needs to stop, Riot. If you run new players off before they even have a chance to find their footing, your game is going to collapse. Veteran players are already starting to leave in larger and larger numbers thanks to the per-patch bugs and the extremely out of hand balance. If you can't keep new players for more than a month, there's no way this looks sustainable.

Fix it, Riot. It's beyond time. Fix the matchmaking.

I tried to play casually for the first time in 2 years the other day. At least my games with 4-5 people were ok-ish. Play with one other person though?

Eesh, that's even worse than I'd ever have imagined. A level 25 against FOUR DIAMOND players? Sheez...

Level 25 and a level 24 lol. Found out real quick mmr, even in normals, has no decay associated with it.

can we just have normal mmr tethered to ranked mmr by 5 divisions or something loose like that. i just don't understand how lvl 24 and 25 are vs diamond teams wtf yo i don't care if it's a normal

The highest single champ mastery player in the world (over 10 million points on ashe) is silver 4. The second highest (over 9.4 million on heimer) is bronze 3. High level does not have absolutely any promise of skill.

I'm not talking about champion mastery, but summoner level. If you've played long enough to achieve 150+, you're far and away a better player than a literal newbie who's sitting at level 13. There's no way that's not the case.

The ashe is level 417. Heimer is 534. At that level, he's still statistically worse than silver players, and a level 40 can definitely go into silver. Level 80 easy.

Level 13s end up in higher games cause they're duod with a regular account or cause they're a smurf and their mmr is already at that level.
