How does teemo counter darius?

I don't get it. his grab. his spin. are all the same range as me if not more. and they slow me down. teemo is too squishy i die in one combo. I don't have trouble fighting auto attackers in top lane. like fiora which i truly think shes stronger champ than darius. or even some other non auto attackers like riven. but I always have trouble with him as teemo. I always lose lane. get grabbed by his hook. ignite. spin. bleed. dead. every single time. there is no way teemo counters darius unless am really bad against darius because this shit doesnt make any sense.

darius does not rely on auto attacks. he just spams his kit and hopefully you die immediately or bleed out.

It is true that Teemo does not really counter Darius, but you just have to kite like a baws to win the lane. You need to start with boots if you feel unconfident and have a few early points in W. You may also try to max Q and poke him from a safe distance, but i do not recommend it.

This matchup is very skill-demanding, requires you to bait out his grab and use minion block to your advantage. You have to trust the human reaction time and be patient. Darius has a tendency to push the lane so you might want to cry for a gank, although it is very unlikely (since you are teemo and no one wants to help him).

Also many teemo players don't try to kite after they blind the enemies, they feel "safe". This is bad practice; even after you blind your enemy you should keep kiting.

Well if u blind him and then he pulls you, his blind will expire and he will be able to slow you. If you go auto him, he pulls u and starts Q, stay in his melee range so he doesnt hit u with blade, then Q him before he slows you, as his slow is basic attack modifier and blind counters it.

His Q still deals damage, just less. Basically what Darius is hoping Teemo will do is come close to Q Darius, then Darius would pull teemo and blind would expire then he can use his slow. U basically need to save blind to use it before he slows you.

here is what darius does. you farm. he grabs you with his absurd grab hook. he Qs you. and then he does his other abilitie. ignite. you get both damage from ignite and bleed and you die. thats what happens every time and i cant help it because his grab range is longer than my auto attack. what is the point of blind. darius is not going to AA me. he just needs 3 abilities plus ignite to get a dead teemo

Thats the thing, when he pulls you, you probably panic and start running, so his blade hits you, and since you are running and probably panicking, you dont Q him so he can apply his slow on you. What you MUST do is, as soon as he pulls you, Q him immediately, as he will try to apply stun and spin. Dont run immediately, so his blade dont hit you, after his Q ended, use W and run. and hit him couple of times as his abilities are on cooldown.

i looked it up darius grab range is 550 while teemos aa range is 500. what? in what world does teemo counter darius if he can grab me and its gg after that.

and the hit box on that grab is absurd

well i just wondered because since you expain how teemo counters darius i thought teemo also counters fizz right because fizz Q applies auto attack so he cant do that when hes blinded but then again his fish is strong but he E onto teemo and teemo just puts shroom under him boom and who deals more damage they both have burst but fizz has mobility and if you Q malzahars pet can it still hit you if not teemo counter ad malz jungle very good but who even plays teemo?

No offense, but you're probably just not a great Teemo player. Doesn't matter if you play hard counters if you can't play them well. I personally suk with Teemo.

I mean imo counters are like. kassadin and lissandra. doesn't matter how good the lisanndra is. she will get obliterated by a competent kassadin.
