How to bring power back to solo carrying.

As a top/mid laner, and I also play jungle (because I hate bot lane).

I think the best method to bring back solo carrying is broken up into a few key pieces.

1: Impact of jungle. Now I'm not saying that jungle impact is bad, but junglers simply can be too effective at the current moment. I can play something like Malzahar and do nothing until I hit level 6 and have my jungler come by and boom I win lane. Or If I am losing lane really hard to a yas who is extremely aggressive, my jungler can just continuously come by mid to kill yas.

  • How to address this. Increase how long it takes for junglers to become active gankers. There are a few methods in which we can approach slowing down a jungler without hurting them too much.

A: Decrease exp from camps. Require 3 camps to go from level 1 to level 2. This will require some rebalancing for blue side, blue reliant junglers. (Amumu etc). Make them hit level 3 at 5 camps (not including scuttle). This will bring forth a few things in the jungle. It makes counter jungling high impact again. Meaning that if someone fails a gank and then loses a camp to the enemy jungler, they will be heavily behind the enemy jungler. But on the same note, if a counter jungler gets caught in the enemy jungle and dies, they will also give up time and exp to the other jungle.

B: Level goals for Junglers in comparison to laners. Junglers should be level 2 when laners are level 3. (Jungler should be on the verge of hitting level 3, like a camp away in exp). Jungler Level 3 to Laners level 4. Junglers level 4.25 to Laners level 5. Junglers level 5.5 to laners level 6. Junglers level 6.75 to Laners level 7. Finally catching up to laners at level 8. This will lower the early game impact, while still leaving room for play. This allows solo carry junglers to also exist. This empowers assassins in the jungle just as much as it empowers powerfarmers. So the jungler for the early game will be tied with the bot lane in level. Then by the mid game will catch up to the solo laners. Then plateau with the solo laners.

2: Inability to out fight an ADC that is tied with a solo laner. Often times as a solo laner. It gets frustrating whenever you have gotten a lead. But then you look at your bot lane and see that they have fed. Even if you are ahead in kills, compared to the enemy adc. Because they have a support, it becomes nearly impossible for you to do your job. I believe it was already stated that damage for ADC's were going to be looked at later. Which is good.

3: First Tower Gold, was added because of pro play. But on the same note; it hurt solo play. If you roam as a mid mage to bot lane to help bot, but the enemy AD Mid/ AD Jungle come by mid, and take the tower. Unless you also manage to take bot tower w/ a kill, or get two kills. The enemy team took an important tower + got more gold from the towers value. And if played properly denied 8-12 CS.

but these are just a few ideas.

TL;DR

To bring back solo potential.

1: Limit Jungle Early Presence.

2: Nerf ADC damage.

3: Nerf gold from random things or remove it (Aka First Tower Gold)

Require 3 camps to go from level 1 to level 2. This is way to many camps. if anything allow level 2 off the 1st camp like now, but make 2-3 take more camps.
