Frustrated player needing a coach.

So I recently got demoted to S4 (Was S2 a few days ago) and it really feels like my practice is all for nothing.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, it doesn't matter how well I'm doing, I still freakin' lose and it just makes me want to break something every time I see yet another "Defeat" across my screen.

Can someone go into a game with me so someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong? Because it's getting frustrating now.

Edit: Ok, I took on some of your advice and I'm back on Silver 3! Now for Silver 2, and then.. THE WORLD. Gold 5 hopefully

Big tip if you go adc. Don't go mid and steal the midlaners cs, especially if they're behind. You are nerfing them more than you're buffing yourself.

I agree with Webster. You're playing WAY too many things. Pick something, learn it and stick with it. I have about 3 midlaners and 2 jungle champs I play. I find myself and my duo parters end up 2v5'ing about 70% of our games so find someone you do well alongside and duo. Macro is something that most silver players simply don't know. I just played a 47 minute game that would have been over if not for the other 3 players on my team. Just stay calm, pick and learn a few champions (by learn I mean be able to play well even into counterpicks) and then go back to ranked with a fresh start.

Edit: Note I main Malzahar. He's been continuously dicked this season by riot, I still have a 60% winrate on him. That's what I mean by learn them and stick with them.

  1. I notice that you keep playing after a couple loses. This is not conducive to winning; especially games where you did well and your team lost. Even if you think you are not tilted you are a little bit. This will not help you make good decisions in game.
  2. In your last 14 games you played 9 different champions in 4 different positions (i didn't see any top lane games) it is best in lower elo to focus on 1-2 champs in 1-2 positions. Lux seems to be one of your favs and she just got buffed, so only play Lux. If she is banned or the other mid picked a counter have one other mid you play. This applies to all positions. One trick a champ unless they're banned or you really really do not like the match up.
  3. Mute everyone at the beginning of the game and only communicate in pings. People in Silver have nothing good to say anyway.
  4. I saw you play a lot of MF. You might want to try and find a support duo when playing adc. A lot of solo queue supports/autofilled players are pretty selfish.

The Matchmaking heavily encourages playing two roles, while you play three. You should probably focus on two and play the third one in normals.

Also, Mages Mid and Adc are two roles that go well together. Focus on farming, positioning and skirmish/teamfight damage output.

Jungle and Adc is one of the worst role combos in the game. Jungle needs best Map awareness and least positioning in the game. Adc is the opposite, you need good positioning and can easily rely on your Support for map based decisions.

Finaly, your build are meh. Not terrible, but you could gain 1-2 divisions by improving them.

https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/missfortune/adc This is a decent place to start with runes/items/skills. You don't really need much else, unless you're looking to reach Diamond.

I was just about to make the same thread.. in one of my games it got so bad that my teammates stopped insulting me and started apologizing, I honestly didn't know what to do anymore. I simply don't understand this meta as I'm still used to the old 'mid laners can also carry' meta

do you play other roles besides adc ? ironically adc's can't carry anymore, i recommend learning mid or jungle if you really want to turn your lead into a victory but jungling is much more difficult to learn, if you mid it's preferable to have wave clear for your lane and any other lane you roam to push it and prepare for a dive, as for junglers is recommended to pick a solid tank or an assassin, also if you mid pink ward the small river bush and bush behind red buff you give your bot lane and yourself vision incase your opponent decides to roam which is really helpful to ping them to back

Key: 1 or 2 champs in 1 or 2 positions. Don't chase kills - better less kills but safe play. Focus on objectives, not kills.

Once you feel comfortable with your OTP champs, you will feel more comfortable in positioning yourself during team fights.
