This is just for a laugh, really. I was going to call it "noobiest moment", but that could of been taken the wrong way. For me, it's a toss up between:

Building Trinity Force on Katarina "Wow, this sure does give a lot! I bet it makes me so powerful!". ~~Somehow, I still did okay.~~

And for some reason, maxing out Vayne's Condemn first whilst building a Thornmail for a second item. "I'm not doing so good, I bet this will help me!". We lost.

Me: Trying to smite enemy champions for more games than I care to admit. Never noticed it wasn't doing damage to them.

Same. Then once I finally realized Smite didn't work, I assumed Ignite didn't either. Also last-hitting was such a foreign concept to me. My friends kept telling me to wait until the end to kill them and I was like, "why be lazy, I can do all the damage to them!" So I'd do like 90% of their life, push the wave, and not get any last hits. Was awesome.

My derpiest moment that I recall was just last night. I was practicing ADC on my smurf (I am a terrible ADC and if I try to practice on my primary account I usually get rekt) and at level 3 all I can choose is blind pick. I never play blind pick anymore... I had a Braum support and so did the other team... 2 Braums... Mid game I was walking through our Jungle, I just took red buff and was at less then 1/2 health and I heard Braum clearing a camp with his very distinctive emotes, so I was going to help... I ran right up to him like I was going to give him a hug... HE KILLED ME!!! My Braum killed me!!! It took me more then a second to figure out what just had happened...

Not something I did myself, those I've done some really derp things, but the derpiest I ever witnessed was a Garen with 6 item 1027 in an attempt to give him mana. Claimed all his skills were dark and wondered why he never got mana to make them work. He never skilled them up all game.

This was way back when I was like level 3 or 4 I think. Still makes me chuckle.

Building deathcap on Jinx and also being so confused to why I was so unable to wear any of the equips that I had bought. (I thought the deathcap would actually have to appear on your character model for the stats to take effect...)

All I knew was that we had to kill the Nexus. So I tried going through the jungle to keep infiltrating the nexus, and didn't understand how I kept dying.

I remember never being able to get a champ kill, but I prided myself on being able to kill the pesky minions, without realizing they're meant to be farmed, and not an objective

I went Annie bot with the old Vampiric Scepter as first item and Smite. I thought the goal of the game was to kill as many minions as possible. I didn't even last hit them. I just used everything I had to make them go away, like throwing Tibbers on them whenever he was up with or without stun.

Rebuying items when they'd disappear after buying a different item. Aka: Buys item 3086 Buys item 3087 later Wtf where'd that other thing go. Rebuys

Also coming from playing so much CoD all I wanted was to be a machine gun so I'd buy item 3085 (when it was trash) and every other attach speed item. My brother broke the news to me I was basically an automatic rubberband gun with that build.

Also many people will say they bought 2 boots. Well I didn't buy any cause I want to shoot faster. I don't care about movement speed.

Playing Alistar and never maxing my ult because I thought it was useless the fact that it wasn't some damaging ult.

Lucky for me, it was just bot games, so the embarassment wasn't much.

edit: I should specify, it wasn't just ad, it was infinity edge, bloodthirster, that sorta stuff. Old shen, season 1.

I stacked item 3083 on Malphite because it gave me a lot of health and made me look tanky. I also never got boots because why would I do that when I could get another warmog's?

My derpiest moment was i was still able to play Jinx , and i was pushing bot and there was an opposing champ in front of me, our mid Zed comes in, obliterates the champ in front me and hides in the golem bush with very low hp and starts to recall

I hit the golems about 5 sec after he starts to recall and i run away. the golems kill zed. best moment of my league career

For a good 4 to 5 months, I didn't know that the recall button was an option. I literally walked back to base every time I was low health/mana.

Back in late season 3, when I started playing, I only played top-lane Nasus, often with my level 30 friends who got me into the game. I remember my friends telling me that our team needed a tank so I should build mostly defense items. I proceeded to build 5 warmogs and mobi boots.

I would also never build item components, only the completed items. I don't for the life of me know why.

Ive got 2, and i blame my friends for never letting me know... 1: I was a hardcore RPG player, so i thought i needed boots, a sword a chest piece ect... never would i buy anything that had a sword icon on a ranged character 2: didn't know you built into items, i wouldn't buy anything till i could finish an item because i didn't know the tier went "the wrong way" all my games i was used to would tier from up to down, with the bottom being the final

I didnt get the item build path concept so i thought you had to buy all items outright... so I would grind farm too 3.5k gold to buy a item 3074 (that only lasted a game or so though)

then i thought the passives on item 3085 item 3074 applying to ranged/melee only meant that you would get absolutely no benefit from the item when building them on the wrong champion(back when you could do that)... so it a yasuo built i though he wouldnt get any of the stats either

I didn't know that u could buy parts of an item. So i would recall and go back to lane without anything. I also wouldn't buy any starting items cuz I tried to save gold
