@Meddler: PBE - Akali's E getting buffed in damage/CD? Why not make it castable while moving?

Akali's Crescent Slash is already pretty damaging, but it seems you guys want to turn it into a whirling death-spam ability. IMO, that's not the best of paths to buff Akali; Crescent Slash already does acceptable damage (although it does physical, not magic, so Void Staff is incompatible).

The thing that's always irked me about Crescent Slash is that Akali stops to cast it. This feels REALLY clunky on someone who's supposed to be a mobile assassin, whereas Katarina's Sinister Steel suffers no such problem.

So why didn't you try making Akali able to use her E while moving? Is there some problem with that kind of buff?

for the love of god she doesn't need increased scaling or reduced cd on her E, it's fucking terrible

just let her Q proc off of it again and we'll be fine

Probably easier on the code/programming side to type in different numbers than add new functionality.

Because she's an energy champion. The 1 second CD means quite littl, she's better off saving the energy for Q.

Yeah. Posted a moth ago that her E is good for nothing. Has no interactions with the rest of her kit, making kat and zed better than her in every aspect.

reducing the cooldown with that atrocious energy cost with no refund mechanic like zed is good for nothing.

Riot could make it castable while moving and interact with the shroud, by add the shroud aoe to the slash or make that using E doesn't reveal you.
