Why can Lee Sin cancel his second Q in the middle of the travel by using E on a ward?

Because, if I make a mistake with Vi JarvanIV ults (jumping vs several people), or grab the enemy tank with Blitzcrank , I cannot solve it and I or one of my teammates will probably die. But apparently Lee doesn't have to care about jumping in the direction of the fed Darius since he can just go back. What is the sense of this?

IDK. But FYI Lee's E is his AOE and not his ward jump. Also, Vi ULT and Jarvan ULT are coded different, along with Blitz. Apparently, a dash can cancel out a dash, as long as both of them aren't special like Vi or Jarvan.

I think it's to position in a teamfight or something.

Because then you don't get hit by the second Q so you don't take the damage. It also doesn't hit anyone except the marked target. Vi is uninterruptible and hits every single person in her way, Jarvan just AoE ults everyone.
