Is there a system in place to lower elo?

Odd story coming from me, but an interesting phenomenon hit me today. I climbed from bronze 4 to around silver 3 straight within like a week, it was a struggle but I somehow managed. Out of nowhere, something clicked today. Idk if I was winning too many matches in a row? or climbing too fast but I just started getting feeder after troll after afker after inter and it was horrible. Long story short I had a terrible day of just all sorts of bad players, and I sinked all the way down to silver V, and have yet to get a match without a troll or inter. I'm just curious if this happened to me for a reason or I am just unlucky... thanks.

When you queue up all it does is looks at your hidden MMR as well as the hidden MMRs of the other people that are queued up. It doesn't look at your stats. It doesn't look at your past games. It doesn't look for win streaks. It doesn't look for losing streaks. It doesn't look to see if you are in your promos. It doesn't look to see if you were recently promoted. It doesn't look to see if you were recently demoted. It doesn't look to see what champions you play. It doesn't look to see what your average KDA is.

It literally just looks at your hidden MMR. It doesn't even look at your rank, it looks at the actual number assigned to your account based on your current skill level, which eventually your rank badge reflects after a bunch of games are played and your win rate starts to balance out to 50%. It doesn't try to balance your win rate to 50%. It doesn't look at your win rate. All it looks at is your hidden MMR and the other people's hidden MMRs. It tries to balance the teams based on these numbers alone.

silver V-III are notorious for being bad divisions its where most new people get placed before they sink or swim, personally i had more trouble getting out of silver than climbing in gold last year or even climbing out of bronze this year in flexq
