How do you expect to lose? Snowball or NOT!

I do not play a lot of Ranked. Almost none in fact. That being said, in my normal games I have seen the ability to lose or win in under 20 minutes..... AND I LOVE IT! I lost a game in 16 minutes one time. Didn't bother me in the least. WHY? Cause my team sucked. I don't know if everyone sucked as a collective or was a a culmination of a bunch of shit plays but we sucked.

I do my best as a player to die less than 6 times in a game. I see people die for one kill as if they can't do the simple math that giving up bounty plus supp gold to get a kill is counter productive. I am hearing a lot of arguments that seem to just be saying "you remember back in the good old days when you could fuck up at will and still pull it out of fire? I miss those days."

The comeback threshold has been decreased and you should get with the times. Get good and stop dying. Stop being a 15/10 player cause unless you are Tryn or Yi all those deaths aren't helping your team. Stop giving up gold to get gold cause I bet you aren't keeping track of the difference in gold for kills and CS. You are blowing it, dude (and dudet). You can't comeback from the same deficit anymore so get over it.

I see a lot of post that I don't think are true either. The scenario of "I was just minding my own business playing a legit lane when all of the sudden someone in another lane gives up two kills and TOTALLY LOPSIDES the game so much we can't come back. NOT EVEN WITH SMART PLAY! GG!"

Stop giving in to "the thirst" for blood and engage like a pro. Try coming back from a 3000 gold def not a 10k def you put yourself in.Maybe it is ok if the game ends** 15 kills to 10 kills instead of the usual 34 to 30**. Who is doing all this dying anyway? Be the one to say "not me".

no. I've seen too many games with 2:1 or 4:1 K/D ratios between one team and another. I'm not asking for tug-of-war mechanics. I just want it to be like a basketball game, where the ending is important, not just the first quarter. Yes, you can be so bad that at half time, the score is so lopsided. then you can not catch back up. that's fair. However, this feels like the game is decided in the first quarter of a basketball game, period.

Imagine if pro sports played this snowbally this often. People don't watch sports to watch blow-out after blow out. Yes, blowouts will happen. What we love are the close games, the games where the victor might be a surprise, when you consider what has elapsed throughout the game. Those are always the best.

I don't know if you heard of the game of Natural Selection (the original, not NS2). I will never forget a 3 hour game between marines and aliens. Oh my god, that epic victory will never ever be forgotten. There were so many base relocations, hive seiges and what-not. Yes, it's the suspense of the sport that's so fun, not the epic roflstomp.

just seems like a lot of emphasis is being put on time and not quality. in order to get a good game you have to pit two good teams together. Its not just the difference in kills. 2 or 4. bu how did those kills happen. Did they come about in the heat of battle or did the come about by stupid plays and they are more indicative of things to come? When a team drops down by 4 kills that doesn't mean the bleeding has to continue. If you have been close for 15 minutes and then you are on the losing end of a team fight, that isn't the same as 4 random kills through out the game.

I wasn't talking about a difference in kills. I was talking about a difference in kill ratios.

I've had 12-48 losses. 20-40 losses.

It's sad when I have to consider a 25-38 as a closer game than average.

Yes, I've had victories where we are 30-15, and I'm still happily farming in the jungle, having ganked once or twice. It's way to easy to snowball.

Agree with you, if Riot undoes the minion change.
