What are Ori's weaknesses?
Having a hard time dealing with her, thanks in advance.

She has none. Just dodge if they pick her and if you're playing blind pick then just leave in the loading screen and let your team remake.
Ori main gonna tell you how to kill ori
Jump on her Like all mages, gap closers are tough on her. She can't pull you off in any meaningful way and will struggle to respond, especially if she just used q. That said, respect her autos. Don't dive her if she is carrying the ball and her ult is up. Many a good zed and Yasuo die that way getting yanked back under tower to take an extra turret shot and ignite.
Use range. Orianna is a mid range mage. She does the most damage keeping you at an arm's length. She needs to set up fights by setting her q on the side often times, so bypassing that whole nonsense by picking Xerath or velkoz lets you avoid fight altogether. Be careful, orianna will be finding chances to get closer to those kinda of mages between cooldowns to get off a combo.
Be fast. Anyone with a small dash or juke that can side step the ball avoids 90% of her damage. Remember, ALL of her damaging spells come from the ball so if you can dodge 1 q and get in a few hits you got a free trade and forced her to use the shield.

dunno who downvoted, but that's basically it. 1&3 usually come in a combo. and then there's 2. Range and divers screw give ori trouble... although there really isn't anything she' can't play around as long as she has summoners and it's not a camps + roaming support situation.

What if she E+R's? Or simply E+W hurts a lot, since her W hurts. Also, she often outdps's me with her passive and low Q cooldown (once it gets ranked up), so should I go more glass cannon/burst based so I can get through her E shield and kill her before her Q comes up to reposition her ball? Ori's burst is damn scary as a glass cannon though, so I would juke her ball and try to kill her before her Q comes up again... correct?

Huh. Useless for me, for the most part, but good to know. Ori outranges me most of the time.

Her Q comes up really fast though, once it gets levels. Her Q hitbox is also pretty big, and while it can be juked, it's probably not gonna happen on her second Q cast (once your mobility is blown). Her R isn't too small either.
flash the ult.
the travel time of the ball, if the more things the ball hits going towards you the less damage it does.
try her out for a few games, you will notice her cool downs on her W and her E, and then u can work around those

Wait is that seriously a thing?
Yup
Huh...the more you know.
If her ball isnt near her, she is very vulnerable. As an assassin take advantage of her semi long cds and get in her face. As a mage, play someone with more range to harass

SEMI, i didnt say super long, learn how to read. Her ult is relatively average-long cooldown. Her q at 6 rank 1 and w at 9? Like Its extremely easy to abuse these cooldowns.

I dunno man, that Q cooldown is pretty damn low, especially with CDR and it's range. 3 second cooldown rank 5 is insane, too... once she gets that leveled, it's gonna be pretty damn hard to play around her cooldowns.
She's immobile. Her only hard cc is her ult. She is squishy. Her spells are rather slow.
Her biggest weakness is Movement speed. Truthfully, if you can in advance take MS runes and masteries, build boots of swiftness and or Ludens Echo if AP. You can easily dodge her ball this way as the ball does travel quite slow when moving farther distances, this way you can also EASILY walk out of her ult. As long as you can predict when she is going to ult you can dodge it, I mean if she is getting close on you and keeps walking to you when you are out of position you can tell she wants to ult you, then if you see her ball come at you just speedily walk out of the way. Keep mouse close to your champion so you can quickly direct where to move. If In draft pick and the enemy midlaner chooses Orianna, I would not go with anyone that doesn't have good movement speed or any gap closing abilities ie: Syndra, Morgana, Lux, or Cassiopeia, I personally pick Ahri because when she goes all in I use my R to go in on her, because for Orianna to go in she has to literally put herself in a super vulnerable position by casting her Ball away from her losing the passive resistances and now she has for travel time to shield herself or speed herself up, so when she Q's and is gonna R W explode you just ult towards her quickly using two charges of Ahri's R and a quick W-E charm and she's basically dead.
In lane i'm pretty sure a good Orianna can hold 1v1 against any champion with the right summoners. If she takes barrier, and uses her shield on top of that for your all ins she can pretty much turn it around on you. If you play passive, and she has even or superior range, she'll chip away at you. So she basically goes even/doesn't lose or wins lane. Less than ideal match ups would be those with longer range, Xerath, or strong waveclear like Ziggs seeing as Ori is mana hungry before she gets lost chapter. Or people who force her to play a passive lane then outscale her Azir. But her real weakness is Divers. Orianna suxs against people who can gapclose + burst and or have strong dive potential. Dianna, hecrim stuff like that will typical give her a hard time

Huh, so with a Diver, would I go for heavy damage (as you mentioned, her E shield + barrier make her kinda tanky) with little resists? Because if that's so, then I feel like I'd be oneshot by her R+Q+W+autos. So would I try to oneshot her first, or get tanky enough to survive her burst and finish her off with DPS after my initial burst?

Two champs you can typically play against Orianna and go even or better with are Ahri ("broken" right now according to the board) or Diana. You see Orianna's damage early lvls is moderate, but not overpowering. she can chunk repeatedly till she gets you in that sweet spot for her to ult. But Diana's actually kind of tanky with her shield, and once Diana reaches 6 if she lands a Q and all ins, Orianna is either dead (if she's low) or losing her barrier and cause of your own shield if she full combos she's NOT killing you. an Orianna without items is NOT killing a Diana any time soon unless you eat like EVERY Q before you both reach 6, in which case that's more you than Orianna being strong.
Orianna has the advantage over Ahri pre 6, although it is for the most part an even match up, but once 6 comes, if you're good with Ahri, Orianna CAN'T all in you. She just can't. If she tries to Q R W then you just ult dash around her land a charm full combo, ignite weaving in auto and she's probably dead if she's not near full health. How Orianna wins is by you making a mistake. So many times an Ahri has the ball placed at the back and to the left or right of them. I mark what creep they are going to cs and once the go in to start the autoattack which you can tell from the animation - QRW- dead Ahri. They could have dodged it, but they were focused on the CS and not the ball, and you can tell. Having said that, you have to be pretty patient and wait for a charm or right moment to flash or ult charm. If it's just a farm lane roam and your roams are way better than orianna's snowball other lanes but keep in mind that You'll probably be outscaled if you just farm it out.
Pick an artillery mage and rush movement speed,it's not a counter but it's your best chamce
can one-shot her.
Pretty much one shot assassins especially ones with a lot of mobility like Zed. More or less all ining and dodging her ult is her only weakness. Ori has never not been a good pick as far as I remember.
This video is still relevant.

Basically the champions listed in the "midlaners to avoid as Orianna" is what you want to play.
In case you don't want to look at the video these are the champions mentioned. I'd say they're pretty spot on.

But the main thing you want to consider when playing these champions is your team comp and scaling. Orianna has decent laning and good scaling with no major weaknesses. If you pick an early champion from the list and can't get an advantage she'll win the game. Don't go leblanc and just farm when you can go Xerath poke her and scale just as well as she does. Ahri i still think is the best pick into her, because it's pretty even for most of the game with a slight advantage to Ahri, and pick potential that never really goes away because of charm (zed etc, not enough damage = no kill but charm and someone can follow up.)
