How about this for the new frozen mallet?

#Build (back to his first form) item 3044 + item 1011

#Stats

  • +700 Health
  • +30 Attack Damage

Unique Passive – Rage: Basic attacks grant 20 movement speed for 2 seconds on hit. Minion, monster, and champion kills grant 60 movement speed for 2 seconds. The movement speed bonus is halved for ranged champions. Unique Active – Cold Mark: Marks a targeted champion for 5 seconds that reduce his attack speed with 10%. This marked target will leave a frost trail that will refresh the rage passive when walking over it. Auto attack will deal true damage on the marked target based on 3% of your maximum health.

So no more slow but a refreshing on rage passive. Since it's a anti-kit tool an attackspeed reduction wouldn't be a bad idea I think.

Seriously hoping they combine phase into the new mallot, really loved phage but sucks that it only builds into one item now. Mallot should just give the boost of phage and the slow of the mallot IMO :)

V3.10a:

Recipe Changed: item 1011 Giant's Belt + item 1037 Pickaxe + item 1028 Ruby Crystal + 950g = 3300g. (Item cost remains the same).

They removed item 3044 from the build because the 2 passive where to toxic together. Right now riot is planning to remove item 3022 because of the toxic on hit slow. And now you are suggesting to bring these passives back together.

Read your history man

Edite: And no, letting the rage passive steal movementspeed won't work. Riot already refused to implement that idea because it would create the exact same problem item 3022 has right now.

Sounds reasonable.

I don't really think the true damage on-hit effect is necessary - it doesn't particularily fit the notion of a chase/anti-kite tool, and might detract from the item's power budget too much.

Another aspect worth thinking about might be to include some AS in the recipe - like a item 1042 - and to reduce the HP given. Not too much AS, more like 20-25%, but a faster attack also means that you can chase better. Just thinking here...

Well I was thinking about that first. I actualy add this because the stickness of the item will be a lot weaker than it was compaired to the old frozen mallet (healthier) but that also means the same effectiveness has to be implemented on a shorter window. That's why the additional damage. I'm not sure however whe should keep it with true damage or change it to magic or ad damage.

I think adding attack speed to it would just ramp up the item for no reason. Whe really don't want a second item 3078. I think the AD/Health factor should remain. Also this would also mean this item becomes more effective lategame. And I don't think scaling power is a bad thing. Whe also have to take in mind. Despide rage is haf for range champion. It could still become to effective for marksmen. Whe reason don't want to see Vayne with a core item like this.

I get froyo mallet when I'm not tanky enough on a jungler, and it helps my team get picks off the enemy team because of the slow. These changes are cool, but the froyo mallet is... cooler hehe

I think it should keep the slow as is and add the rage passive.

Not happy with that cold mark. Why does a frost trail speed you up? slowing the enemy and eventually other enemys on it would fir better and create a more interesting mechanic. Also, the truedamage part is way to strong, imagein a WW with this ultin someone....why not simply give it old atmas passive and convert max hp into ad? 1 or 1.5% would probably be enough to make it worth it's gold.

They are changing it cause its pretty useless, not because it is toxic or OP. People never build this item lol

LCS - TSM vs CLG: Gnar rushed this item.

Thats because Gnar energizes extremely well with slows and MS buffs, due to his kit. I like the item, not saying its bad, I build it sometimes on Teemo; but the item certainly isn't OP. Needs to be changed so it is more viable to build on more champs.
